The May Day is a counterfeit celebration of the marriage of the bride of Messiah to her bridegroom. Dancing around a May Pole is a corruption of the gathering of mankind to the Messiah through His work on the cross. The May Queen is a counterfeit of the bride of Christ.
In Celtic cultures, May 1st was considered the beginning of Summer. In Gaelic, the month of May is known as ‘Mí Bhealtaine’ or ‘Bealtaine.’ May 1st in particular was called ‘Beltane.’
Beltane is considered a cross-quarter day which marks the midpoint of the sun’s progression between the Spring equinox and the Summer solstice. The cross imagery is significant as it is Messiah’s work on the cross that gathers all mankind together, that ‘binds’ them to the Father as glue {אם ’em’}.
Beltane is celebrated with the symbol of the May Pole, which depicts the crucifixion (serpent on a pole).
Joh 3:14 And even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
Num 21:7 And the people came in to Moses and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against YHWH, and against you. Pray to YHWH, and He shall turn the serpent away from us. And Moses prayed on behalf of the people.
Num 21:8 And YHWH spoke to Moses, Make yourself a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that when anyone is bitten, when he sees it, he shall live.
Num 21:9 And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole; and it happened, if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.
The word ‘Beltane’ comes from the Hebrew word בעל ‘baal’ which means husband or master.
Isaac Mozeson also traces the word ‘May’ back to the Old Norse word ‘maer’ which means a girl. The corresponding word in Hebrew is נערה ‘na’arah’ which he gives as the origin of the English word ‘marry.’ בעל ‘baal’ also means marriage, as in a yoke that binds two people together.
May Queen
The May Queen which is paraded around on May Day depicts this marriage. In the song ‘Stairway to Heaven’ which depicts DNA (ladder), the May Queen is mentioned connecting these two traditions of Beltane to the current study.
“If there’s a bustle in your hedgerow, don’t be alarmed now,
It’s just a spring clean for the May queen.
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There’s still time to change the road you’re on.
And it makes me wonder.”
Gen 28:11 And he came on a place and stayed the night there, for the sun had gone. And he took stones of the place and placed them at his head; and he lay down in that place.
Gen 28:12 And he dreamed. And, behold, a ladder was placed on the earth, its top reaching to the heavens. And, behold, the angels of God were going up and going down on it!
Gen 28:17 And he was afraid, and said, How fearful is this place! This is nothing except the house of God, and this is the door to Heaven.
Gen 28:18 And Jacob started up early in the morning and took the stone which he had placed at his head, and he placed it as a pillar; and he poured oil on the top of it.
Gen 28:19 And he called the name of that place, The House of God {Bethel}. And yet the name of the city was at first Luz.
The ladder = Messiah
Joh 1:51 And He says to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, From now on you will see Heaven opened, and “the angels of God ascending and descending” on the Son of Man.
Messiah Jesus = the Word
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
DNA is a physical picture of the Word of God, it is a language that functions exactly the same as Hebrew, the language that traces back to Eden. DNA is the language of the book that is used to form our bodies, just as the Hebrew language is the language of the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. DNA itself has never been seen, only its shadow. So too, God has never been seen (John 1:18; 5:37)…only His shadow revealed in His Word.
The DNA molecule is the instruction manual for the forming of amino acids which make the structural elements of proteins that turn into the biochemical units that drive all biological processes.
The proteins formed from the amino acids which the DNA molecule makes are 22 in number corresponding to the 22 letters in the Hebrew Aleph-Bet. These 22 letters point to Messiah Jesus who is described as the Alpha & Omega/Aleph – Tav. The Bible (Word of God) was written in both Hebrew and Greek. In Hebrew there are 22 letters, in Greek there are 24 which combine to make 46, the number of chromosomes in each cell.
The Hebrew word for letter is אות ‘oht’ which comes from the root את {Aleph Tav}. The 22 letters of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet form the Image of the Messiah who is the Word made flesh. This is seen in the physical realm in our bodies where the DNA forms 22 amino acids which make the proteins for each individual part of our bodies.
Isa 8:18 Behold, I and the children {Messiah and His body} whom YHWH has given to me are for signs (אתות – ‘letters’) and wonders in Israel from YHWH of Hosts, who dwells in Mount Zion.
In the egg cell of the woman is 22 autosomes and 1 sex chromosome. In the sperm cell of the man is 22 autosomes and 1 sex chromosomes. In order for life to be created, there needs to be 46 chromosomes.
The Holy Scriptures are a combination of the Hebrew and Greek languages. The Hebrew language consists of 22 letters and the Greek language consists of 24. The total is 46.
The sperm cell in and of itself cannot produce life and neither can the egg cell of the woman. These must be combined. The seed is the Word (Luke 8:11). The seed is carried by the man. Here is the picture of the Letter of law which is dead in and of itself (2 Corinthians 3:6). It is only when the Spirit (רוח ‘ruach’ in Hebrew is a feminine word) is added to the Word that life is brought forth.
The egg cell is carried by the woman but without the seed (the Word) it does not bring forth life either. The Hebrew word for egg is בצה ‘betsah’ which traces back to the word for house/temple בית ‘bayit.’ Without the Word in our bodies (temples) we are dead. We must be born again through the incorruptible seed of the Word of God (1 Peter 1:23; Titus 3:5; 1 John 3:9; James 1:18). This is the fruit of the Tree of Life, whose seed is in itself.
Chromosomes are in the shape of an x or cross. The male carries the X and Y chromosome, the female carries only the X. The letter X is the Hebrew letter Tav which means a covenant or mark. The letter Y is the Hebrew letter vav. Combining these letters we get תו ‘tav’ which is the Hebrew word for mark. Again the link between genetics and the mark is seen.
Etymology
Chromosome comes from the Greek word ‘khroma’ meaning color/skin and ‘soma’ meaning body. Chromosomes were given this name because of the ability to be stained underneath a microscope.
In Hebrew this is קרם ‘qaram’ which is a switching for רקם ‘raqam’ which is a word that means ‘twisting of thread‘ (DNA). קרם ‘qaram’ means a covering as seen in Ezekiel 37:6.
Eze 37:6 and I will put on you sinews and will bring flesh on you and spread skin over you and put breath in you, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am YHWH.
Ezekiel 37 is an interesting connection to the above discussion on the seed and the egg. This chapter is speaking of the dry bones which are brought back together but don’t have life until the wind (רוח ‘ruach’ – spirit) is breathed into them. Bones are from the same word as trees (which makes another interesting connection in the same chapter on the two sticks) which as seen above is linked to the Word. The Word is ‘dead’ without the Spirit.
Going back to the etymology of chromosome…
Chromosome traces back to the Hebrew word קרם ‘qaram.’ קרם ‘qaram’ means to spread or lay over. It comes from the root רק ‘raq’ which means a ‘gathering of heads/people.’ This word is associated with gatherings of people such as cities, assemblies etc. It is the word used for a gathering of believers to read the Word and worship the most High. To קרא ‘qara’ call upon His Name. This is the root of the word מקרה ‘miqra’ or מקרה קדש ‘miqra qodesh’ speaking of the gatherings at the Sabbaths spoken of in Leviticus 23.
These feasts are commonly referred to as statutes in the Scriptures which comes from the word חק ‘chuq.’ חק ‘chuq’ has an interesting connection to chromosomes. The word חק ‘chuq’ literally means to divide/separate and then come together. Interestingly, chromosomes are only visible during the dividing of a cell which in reality is a multiplying of the cell.
Messiah came to divide Israel (Matthew 10:35; Luke 3:7-9) but in reality brought more people unto Himself through the cross (x in the same shape as the chromosome) (John 10:16; 12:32).
1Co 1:18 For the Word of the cross is foolishness to those being lost, but to us being saved, it is the power of God.
1Co 1:23 we, on the other hand, preach Christ crucified (truly an offense to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks),
1Co 1:24 but to the called out ones, both to Jews and to Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God;
The second part of the word ‘chromosome’ comes from the Greek word σῶμα ‘soma,’ which means body and is used in various applications (body of man, animals, planets, society, church, etc.). This traces back to multiple Hebrew words which are significant to the current study. In Exodus 24:10 the word body is translated from the Hebrew word עצם ‘etsem’ which is the word for bone coming from the root עץ ‘ets’ meaning a tree. The connection to the Tree of Life is obvious.
In Judges 8:30 the Hebrew word ירך ‘yarekh’ is translated as body. ירך ‘yarekh’ has the meaning of a shaft as seen in the main trunk of the Menorah in the Temple. This is yet another picture of the Tree of Life and the Messiah. The corrupted counterfeit is depicted in the May Pole.
Here then we see the picture of the chromosome being a gathering of people to form a body. The chromosome is the ‘body’ which holds the DNA which consists of the individual parts which make up the whole. The body of Messiah works the same way. Each individual has a particular purpose to fulfill the whole. This is pictured in the Tabernacle whose individual parts combined to make ONE building (Exodus 36:13). This is seen in the Word which contains many different letters and words to make ONE message.
The Cross
The chromosome is seen in the image of the cross. The cross symbol points to the mark of the beast, yet the mark that YHWH places on His faithful believers is in the same shape (Ezekiel 9:4). We can be a part of the body of Messiah, who is the Word or we can choose to be a part of the counterfeit body of the beast who is lawlessness. The Tree of Life or the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
The chromosome represents the gathering of people to form a body, the cross of Messiah does the same.
It is through the work of Messiah on the cross that mankind is brought into His family.
Isa 40:10 Behold, the Lord YHWH will come with strength, and His arm rules for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His wage before Him. Isa 40:11 He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather lambs with His arm; and carry them in His bosom; those with young He will lead; Psa 89:50 Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, my bearing in my bosom the insults of the many peoples Psa 89:51 with which Your enemies have cursed, O YHWH; with which they have cursed the footsteps of Your anointed.
Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift (gift = love = bosom) of God;
Eph 2:9 not of works, that not anyone should boast;
Eph 2:10 for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.
Eph 2:11 Because of this, remember that you, the nations, were then in the flesh (those having been called Uncircumcision by those having been called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands)
Eph 2:12 that at that time you were without Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
Eph 2:13 But now, in Christ Jesus you who then were afar off, came to be near by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For He is our peace, He making us both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition,
Eph 2:15 in His flesh causing to cease the enmity, the Law of the commandments in decrees, that He might in Himself create the two into one new man, making peace,
Eph 2:16 and might reconcile both in one body to God through the cross, slaying the enmity in Himself.
Eph 2:17 And coming, He proclaimed “peace to you, the ones afar off, and to the ones near.” Isa. 57:19
Eph 2:18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
Eph 2:19 So, then, you are no longer strangers and tenants, but you are fellow citizens of the saints and of the family of God,
Unity comes only through Messiah and the New Covenant in Him (Psalm 50:5; Isaiah 49:3-9; Hebrews 13:20-21; Jeremiah 50:5; Ephesians 2:15; Colossians 1:20; 2:1-11) and walking with Him (1John 1:3-7).
“Unity in the body of Christ does not rest on uniformity, but on our common ‘blood,’ which is the blood of Christ. We are now members of one family, and that identity cannot be taken from us, no matter how much we disagree or quarrel.” (The Gospel in Human Contexts – Paul Hiebert pg 193)
Cell
The DNA molecule resides in the nucleus of our cells. Each cell in our bodies is a picture of the Tabernacle/Temple of YHWH with the nucleus representing the Holy Place. The DNA in the nucleus of the cell is pictured by the Torah in/beside the ark of the covenant.
The English word ‘cell’ traces back to the Hebrew word כל ‘kal’ which means to complete. This is also the root of the word כלה ‘kalah’ which means a bride. The cell is a picture of the Tabernacle/Body of Messiah/bride.
The Hebrew word for cell is תא ‘ta’ (Eze 40:7 chamber)
תא Tav aleph is related to the word תו ‘tav’ (תו ‘tav’ = cross…chromosome) and aleph tav את and means a mark/boundary.
תא relates to the word תר ‘tar’ which means the ‘mark of man’ or the border/outline.
From this root we get תאר ‘ta’ar’ and תואר ‘to’ar.’ These words mean form, outline or border. This is an important connection to see in that the mark of the beast versus the mark of YHWH ultimately reflects whose image/form you are in.
This connection between the mark and the image/form/outline/shadow picture of YHWH Yahshua (LORD Jesus) versus the antichrist is further seen in that the word Torah comes from this same root.
We can have the mark of YHWH and be in His image by walking in His Torah and letting Messiah live through us (Galatians 2:20), or we can have the mark of the beast and be in the image of satan by walking in his “torah” which is lawlessness (Ephesians 2:2-3; Isaiah 30:8-11; 1 Peter 2:8).
We can choose the tree of life or the tree of knowledge. The Light of the Word or the false light which is in reality darkness (Matthew 6:23).
Yoke
The word ‘Beltane’ comes from the Hebrew word בעל ‘baal’ which means husband or master.
Isaac Mozeson also traces the word ‘May’ back to the Old Norse word ‘maer’ which means a girl. The corresponding word in Hebrew is נערה ‘na’arah’ which he gives as the origin of the English word ‘marry.’ בעל ‘baal’ also means marriage, as in a yoke that binds two people together.
The Yoke is Torah/Word (Matthew 11:28-30). It is associated with walking with Messiah as His disciple. The lawless are yoked to sin and are enslaved (John 8:34; Deuteronomy 28:47-48; Leviticus 26:13; Jeremiah 30:8). Another word for yoke in Hebrew is צמד ‘tsamad’ {Numbers 25:3; Psalm 106:28} which also means a bracelet as is used in marriage. We can yoke up with Messiah and enter the wedding supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:9) or we can yoke up with the lawless one and be a feast for the fowls. (Revelation 19:17-19).
The letter ת ‘tav’ in pictograph form is two crossed sticks which has the meaning of a covenant. We can choose the covenant of Life in Messiah Yahshua/Jesus (Isaiah 42:6; 49:8; Zechariah 9:11; Jeremiah 31:31; Matthew 26:28) or we can choose the covenant of death (Isaiah 28:15) which promises deliverance from death (ie false tree of life which is the tree of knowledge) but in reality leads to hell.
Covenant relationship is linked with walking together. (1 Kings 8:23; 2 Kings 23:3; 2 Chronicles 6:14; 34:31; Psalm 78:10)
Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety nine years old, YHWH appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect;
Gen 17:2 and I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you very much.
Amo 3:3 Will two walk together except they are agreed?
The word translated as ‘agreed’ here is יעד ‘ya’ad.’ This will be discussed in more detail below as it is in relation to marriage and the feasts.
The wedding supper of the Lamb is the culmination of the plan of the Most High.
Rev 19:7 Let us rejoice and let us exult, and we will give glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb came, and His wife prepared herself.
Rev 19:8 And it was given to her that she be clothed in fine linen, pure and bright; for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.
Rev 19:9 And he says to me, Write: Blessed are the ones having been called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb. And he says to me, These Words of God are true.
This wedding was foreshadowed in the Garden.
Eph 5:22 Wives, subject yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord,
Eph 5:23 because a husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is Head of the assembly, and He is the Savior of the body.
{This is interesting to note as Paul warns the Corinthians that a woman is to make sure her head is covered because of the angels (1 Corinthians 11:10)…The wedding of the beast and his bride occurs due to the woman (mankind) not being subject to her husband (YHWH) as it was foreshadowed in the garden in the actions of Eve}
Eph 5:24 But even as the assembly is subject to Christ, so also the wives to their own husbands in everything.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave Himself up on its behalf,
Eph 5:26 that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word,
Eph 5:27 that He might present it to Himself as the glorious assembly, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it be holy and without blemish.
Eph 5:28 So, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies, (he loving his wife loves himself),
Eph 5:29 for then no one hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as also the Lord the assembly.
Eph 5:30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.
Eph 5:31 “For this, a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh.” Gen. 2:24
Eph 5:32 The mystery is great, but I speak as to Christ and as to the assembly.
The Kingdom is likened to a wedding supper.
Mat 22:1 And answering, Jesus again spoke to them in parables, saying:
Mat 22:2 The kingdom of Heaven is compared to a man, a king, who made a wedding feast for his son.
Mat 22:3 And he sent his slaves to call those being invited to the wedding feast, but they did not desire to come.
Mat 22:4 Again, he sent other slaves, saying, Tell the ones invited, Behold, I have prepared my supper; my oxen, and the fatlings are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
Mat 22:5 But not caring they went away, one to his own field, and one to his trading.
Mat 22:6 And the rest, seizing his slaves, insulted and killed them.
Mat 22:7 And hearing, the king became angry. And sending his armies, he destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
Mat 22:8 Then he said to his slaves, Indeed, the wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy.
Mat 22:9 Then go onto the exits of the highways and call to the wedding feast as many as you may find.
Mat 22:10 And going out into the highways, those slaves gathered all, as many as they found, both evil and good. And the wedding feast was filled with reclining guests.
Mat 22:11 And the king coming in to look over those reclining, he saw a man there not having been dressed in a wedding garment.
Mat 22:12 And he said to him, Friend, how did you come in here, not having a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
Mat 22:13 Then the king said to the servants, Binding his feet and hands, take him away and throw him out into the outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.
Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few chosen.
Messiah came to deliver mankind from the kingdom of darkness, to call out a priesthood/bride.
Isa 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord YHWH is on Me, because YHWH has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and complete opening to the bound ones;
Isa 61:2 to proclaim the acceptable year of YHWH, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;
Isa 61:3 to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of YHWH, in order to beautify Himself.
Isa 61:4 And they shall build old ruins; they shall raise up former desolations; and they shall restore the waste cities, ruins of generations and generations.
Isa 61:5 And foreigners shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of strangers shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
Isa 61:6 But you shall be called, Priests of YHWH; it will be said of you, Ministers of our God. You shall eat the wealth of the nations, and you shall revel in their glory.
Isa 61:7 Instead of your shame and disgrace, double. They rejoice in their portion; for they shall possess a second time in their land; everlasting joy shall be theirs.
Isa 61:8 For I, YHWH, love judgment, hating plunder in burnt offering. And I will give their work in truth; and I will cut an everlasting covenant for them.
Isa 61:9 And their seed shall be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples; all who see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed that YHWH has blessed.
Isa 61:10 Rejoicing I will rejoice in YHWH. My soul shall be joyful in my God. For He clothed me with garments of salvation; He put on me the robe of righteousness, even as a bridegroom dons as a priest his head-dress, and as a bride wears her ornaments. {This joy is linked to the Kingdom & the Wedding of the Lamb}
Isa 61:11 For as the earth comes out with her buds, and as a garden causes that which is sown to grow, so the Lord YHWH will make righteousness and praise to grow before all the nations.
The 144,000 spoken of in Revelation 7 connect the mark of YHWH to the priesthood. The mark of the beast is a counterfeit…linked to a counterfeit priesthood.
Rev 14:1 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! And with Him were a hundred and forty four thousands, with the name of His Father having been written on their foreheads.
Rev 22:4 And they will see His face; and His name will be on their foreheads.
This is links to the priesthood
Exo 28:36 And you shall make a plate of pure gold. And you shall engrave on it the engravings of a signet: HOLINESS TO YHWH.
Exo 28:37 And you shall put a ribbon of blue on it, and it shall be on the miter, to the front of the miter it shall be.
Exo 28:38 And it shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things which will sanctify the sons of Israel to all their holy gifts. And it shall be on his forehead continually, for acceptance for them before the face of YHWH.
His Name is the Word
Rev 19:13 and having been clothed in a garment which had been dipped in blood. And His name is called The Word of God.
We are marked by the Name/Jesus
Rev 7:3 Do not harm the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we seal the slaves of our God on their foreheads.
Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of those having been sealed: one hundred forty four thousands, having been sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel:
Rev 14:1 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! And with Him were a hundred and forty four thousands, with the name of His Father having been written on their foreheads.
Rev 14:2 And I heard a sound out of Heaven, as a sound of many waters, and as a sound of great thunder. Also I heard a sound of harpers harping on their harps.
Rev 14:3 And they sing as a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one was able to learn the song except the hundred and forty four thousands, those having been redeemed from the earth.
Rev 14:4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones following the Lamb wherever He may go. These were redeemed from among men as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb.
Rev 14:5 And no guile was found in their mouth, for they are without blemish before the throne of God.
Exodus 8:23 Distinction=redemption=sign=ephod=mark of YHWH
Exo 8:23 And I will put redemption (KJV distinction) between My people and your people. This miracle shall be for tomorrow.
Brought back to an original state. A sinless state. Like the Last Adam.
1Jn 3:1 See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now we are the children of God, and it was not yet revealed what we shall be. But we know that if He is revealed, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is.
We shall be in His image. The seed of the serpent will be in his image. This is what the mark of the beast is. The Sons of God (Romans 8) will be clothed in the garments of righteousness and salvation (Yeshua). The seed of the serpent will be clothed in the garments of the serpent.
Ephod comes from the same root as redeem/distinction above.
The 144,00 are the firstborn, the priests…redeemed from the earth.
The “distinction” is seen in the end
Mal 3:16 Then those fearing YHWH spoke together, each man to his neighbor. And YHWH gave attention and heard. And a Book of Remembrance was written before Him for those who feared YHWH, and for those esteeming His name.
Mal 3:17 And they shall be Mine, says YHWH of Hosts, for the day that I will make up My treasure. And I will pity them as a man has pity on his son who serves him.
Mal 3:18 Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who does not serve Him.
We must choose the garments of righteousness and salvation that are only found in Messiah Jesus (Jeremiah 23:6; Isaiah 45:22-25; Isaiah 61:10; Romans 13:14 {2}) or we can choose to have our own righteousness that is nothing but filthy rags.
Isa 64:6 But we are all as the unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as a menstruation cloth. And we all fade as a leaf, and like the wind our iniquities take us away.
Notice that the Holy Spirit links our attempts at righteousness to a leaf that fades away. This traces back to the Garden. When Adam and Eve partook of the tree of knowledge they tried to cover themselves with a fig leaf (Genesis 3:7). This represents self righteousness. YHWH however, covers then with animals skins which represent the righteousness of Jesus, the garments of salvation.
Wedding garments, resurrected into the Image of Messiah.
Isa 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Psa 132:16 I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
Rom 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Gal 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Kingdom of priests.
Exo 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Exo 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
1Pe 2:9 But you are “an elect* race**,” “a royal priesthood,” “a holy nation,” “a people for possession,” so that “you may openly speak of the virtues” of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
The word translated into English in 1 Peter 2:9 as elect or chosen is a Greek word which when broken down to its root means “by or from the Word.” Eklektos is a combination of ‘ek’, meaning out of or from and ‘lego’ meaning the word. This is the meaning of being born again. Born again from above from the Seed of the Word. This is true Zion.
Being covered in the garments of salvation (Yeshua) is the mark of YHWH.
Rom 1:1 Paul, a slave of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, separated to the gospel of God,
Rom 1:2 which He promised before through His prophets in the holy Scriptures,
Rom 1:3 concerning His Son who came of the seed of David according to flesh,
Rom 1:4 who was marked out the Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord;

Rev 1:5 even from Jesus Christ the Faithful Witness, the First-born out of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him loving us and washing us from our sins by His blood,
Rev 1:6 and made us kings and priests to God, even His Father. To Him is the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen.
Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection. The second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him a thousand years.
So what is the counterfeit? It is a false ‘resurrection’ or born again experience. It is partaking of the tree of knowledge. Those who put their faith in Messiah must die to the flesh to be reborn again in the Spirit through His power. Those who partake of the tree of knowledge must go through degrees and graduations to reach ‘godhood’. This is one of the meanings of the ‘Holy Grail’.
This false born again/resurrection concept is seen throughout the world and the various belief systems of mankind. The Buddhists and Hindus have the reincarnation concept. The Jews have the concept of ‘climbing the sephirotic ladder’ and reaching the status of Adam Kadmon (image of God). The esoteric teachings have initiation experiences. They are all the filthy garments of man’s attempts at righteousness. It is only YHWH’s righteousness, the garments of salvation that will save us. We must be in the image of Messiah not the image of the beast. We must partake of the tree of life, not the tree of knowledge. Otherwise we will be among those who weep and gnash the teeth in outer darkness (Matthew 22:11).
From this root we get תאר ‘ta’ar’ and תואר ‘to’ar.’ These words mean form, outline or border. This is an important connection to see in that the mark of the beast versus the mark of YHWH ultimately reflects whose image/form you are in.
This connection between the mark and the image/form/outline/shadow picture of YHWH versus the antichrist is further seen in that the word Torah comes from this same root.
We can have the mark of YHWH and be in His image by walking in His Torah and letting Messiah live through us (Galatians 2:20), or we can have the mark of the beast and be in the image of satan by walking in his ‘torah’ which is lawlessness (Ephesians 2:2-3; Isaiah 30:8-11; 1 Peter 2:8) .
We can choose the tree of life or the tree of knowledge. The Light of the Word or the false light which is in reality darkness (Matthew 6:23).
The Gospel
The Hebrew word for gospel is בשורה ‘besorah’ which comes from the root בשר ‘basar.’
Brown Driver Briggs Hebrew definition
H1319 בּשׂרbâśar
BDB Definition:
1) to bear news, bear tidings, publish, preach, show forth
H1320 בּשׂרbâśâr
BDB Definition:
1) flesh
It is clear to see the link in the above Hebrew word to the current study. The Gospel is linked to the wedding supper of the Lamb and those who partake of that supper through faith in the Good News.
The first reference in the Scriptures to בשר ‘basar’ is in the Garden speaking of Adam and Eve becoming ‘one flesh.’ Again the link to marriage as well as the marriage supper of the Lamb as Paul speaks of this union being a picture of Messiah and His bride (Ephesians 5:32).
Gen 2:21 And YHWH God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh underneath.
Gen 2:22 And YHWH God formed the rib which He had taken from the man into a woman, and brought her to the man.
Gen 2:23 And the man said, This now at last is bone from my bones, and flesh from my flesh. For this shall be called Woman, because this has been taken out of man.
Gen 2:24 Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they shall become one flesh.
Jesus & His bride
Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
The Creator is Jesus
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (Psalm 33:6; Hebrews 1:1-3, 8-12; 11:3; John 1:1-3; Ephesians 3:9)
Rom 7:4 So that, my brothers, you also were made dead to the Law through the body of Christ, for you to become Another’s, to the One raised from the dead, so that we may bear fruit to God.
Notice that Paul links being married to Messiah with bearing fruit. This is because His bride is one with Him. She abides in the vine, the Tree of Life…the Olive Tree. May Day was also celebrated in ancient times to ‘Flora’ the “goddess” of flowers.
Joh 15:1 I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.
Joh 15:2 Every branch in Me not bearing fruit, He takes it away; and each one bearing fruit, He prunes, so that it may bear more fruit.
Joh 15:3 You are already pruned because of the Word which I have spoken to you.
Joh 15:4 Remain in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me.
Joh 15:5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one abiding in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit, because apart from Me you are not able to execute, nothing.
Joh 15:6 Unless one remains in Me, he is cast out as the branch and is dried up; and they gather and throw them into a fire, and they are burned.
Joh 15:7 If you remain in Me, and My Words remain in you, whatever you desire you will ask, and it shall happen to you.
Joh 15:8 In this My Father is glorified, that you should bear much fruit; and you will be disciples to Me.
Joh 15:9 As the Father loved Me, I also loved you; continue in My love.
Joh 15:10 If you keep My commandments you will continue in My love, as I have kept My Father’s commandments and continue in His love.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are the ones doing His commands, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life, and by the gates they may enter into the city.
Pro 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
Covenant Bride
Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety nine years old, YHWH appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect*;
*The word here translated as perfect is from the Hebrew תמים ‘tamiym’ which means complete, without blemish (Exodus 12:5).
Gen 17:2 and I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you very much.
Gen 17:3 And Abram fell on his face. And God spoke with him, saying,
Gen 17:4 As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.
Gen 17:5 And your name no longer shall be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham. For I have made you a father of many nations.
Here it is seen that Abram’s name was changed to Abraham. This links to marriage as a the bride has her name changed to her husband’s because she belongs to Him. (Isaiah 62:2; Revelation 2:17; 3:12)
Gen 17:6 And I will make you very fruitful, exceedingly. And I will give you for nations. And kings shall come out of you.
Gen 17:7 And I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.
Gen 17:8 And I will give to you and to your seed after you the land of your sojourning, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession and I will be their God.
Perfect bride
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave Himself up on its behalf,
Eph 5:26 that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word,
Eph 5:27 that He might present it to Himself as the glorious assembly, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it be holy and without blemish {This is the definition of תמים ‘tamiym’ (perfect)}.
The perfect way
2Sa 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
2Sa 22:32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
2Sa 22:33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
Psa 18:32 It is God who girds me with strength and gives my way to be perfect;
Psa 119:1 ALEPH: Blessed are the upright (תמים ‘tamiym’) in the way, who walk in the Law of YHWH.
Psa 119:2 Blessed are those keeping His Testimonies, who seek Him with the whole heart.
Psa 119:3 They also do not work evil; they walk in His way.
This portion of Psalm 119 is connected to Psalm 1 which speaks of the 2 ways (good or evil) and the two trees of Eden.
Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
We are to walk with Messiah to perfection. This was the message of the Apostles.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Phi 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Phi 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
Col 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Eph 4:11 And indeed He gave some to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 with a view to the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ,
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Col 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete {G4137 pleroo fulfill (Mtt5:17) }in all the will of God.
Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
How do we escape the strong delusion of the end? Just as Noah did.
Gen 6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Noah is a picture of the righteous who walk with God and are perfected in the Image of Messiah. The wicked during the days of Noah are a picture of those in the end who have their DNA manipulated with a counterfeit perfection.
Love the bond of perfection
Col 3:14 And above all these, love, which is the bond of perfectness.
Eph 1:4 Just as from the beginning he has chosen us through him, before the foundation of the world, that we may become holy and without blemish before him.
Eph 1:5 And he marked us with his love {His love is His Torah…this is what the Mark of YHWH is*} to be his from the beginning, and adopted us to be sons through Jesus Christ, as it pleased his will.
Eph 1:11 in whom we also have been chosen to an inheritance, being predestinated (Aramaic mark) according to the purpose of the One working all things according to the counsel of His own will,
*The Shema, is the definition of love.
Mat 22:37 And Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Deut. 6:5
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Lev. 19:18
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments all the Law and the Prophets hang.
The ‘Shema’ comes from Deuteronomy 6 which is to be between the eyes and on the hand.
Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel, YHWH our God is one YHWH.
Deu 6:5 And you shall love YHWH your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
Deu 6:6 And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be on your heart.
Deu 6:7 And you shall teach them to your sons, and shall speak of them as you sit in your house, and as you walk in the way, and as you are lying down, and as you are rising up.
Deu 6:8 And you shall bind them for a sign on your hand; and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
Deu 6:9 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house, and on your gates.
Sons of God through Messiah. Conformed to His Image. His Covenant Bride (seed of Abraham – Genesis 17).
Rom 8:28 But we know that to the ones loving God all things work together for good, to those being called according to purpose;
Rom 8:29 because whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be the First-born among many brothers.
Rom 8:30 But whom He predestinated, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
Rom 8:37 But in all these things we more than conquer through Him loving us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
Gal 3:26 for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:27 For as many as were baptized into Christ, you put on Christ.
Gal 3:28 There cannot be Jew nor Greek, there is no slave nor freeman, there is no male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:29 And if you are of Christ, then you are a seed of Abraham, even heirs according to promise.
May Pole
The Maypole is a tall pole which is decorated with brightly colored ribbons. Young boys and girls circle the pole with ribbons weaving the ribbons around the pole forming a caduceus {cross} in a fertility ritual which is supposed to represent the union of male and female.
The May Pole depicts the crucifixion (serpent on a pole).
“The May Pole recalls the ancient religions that worshipped the Goddess in her manifestation as the Tree of Life. The Goddess, the Tree of Life, and the Serpent are common motifs, dating from early Mesopotamia. Cylinder seals from the 2nd millennium BCE show the Goddess as Ishtar with the Tree of Life and the serpent. The Canaanite goddess, Asherah, was symbolized as a stylized tree and worshipped in sacred groves. She was referred to as Lady of the Serpent.” {Beltane: The Goddess Around the Pole}
May Pole – Circumambulation
The May Pole dance also represents the “circumambulation” of the sun through the heavens.
“The dance is done by counter clock-wise and clock-wise movements. The ribbons are twisted, to intertwine around each other.” That is, the boys went round one way and the girls went round the other. The result is a pole wrapped to look like the paths that the sun and planets take as seen from the earth.” {We’re All Dancing in a Ring Around the Sun}
The Circumambulation (walk together in a circle) is seen in the analemma of the sun as well as the four ‘tequfot.’
The sun’s cycle makes an interesting form when it moves throughout the sky during the year. This phenomenon is known as the ‘analemma.’ If you photographed the sun once a week at the same time of day for an entire year, you would have a photo of the analemma, the sun’s apparent path on the sky over the course of a year, which looks like a figure-eight.
The Covenant
When YHWH cut the covenant with Abraham on Passover, He walked between the pieces of the sacrificed animals as a burning torch. In ancient times when a covenant was cut, the two covenant partners walked through the halves of the split animal(s) in a ‘figure eight’. They would lay each half to the side of each other and stand in between the two bloody halves of flesh, with their backs to each other. Then they would walk right through the bloody halves, making a figure eight, and come back to a stop facing each other.
Gen 15:17 And it happened, the sun had gone down, and it was dark. Behold! A smoking furnace and a torch of fire that passed between those pieces!
The word for 8 in Hebrew is:
This comes from the root:
The root of 8 comes from שם ‘shem’ (name/character) which is the same root as sun שמש ‘shemesh.’
Further connecting the sun & the number eight is the word oil. The Holy Spirit is likened to oil (1Samuel 16:13; Zechariah 4:2-3; Revelation 4:5). The sun moves upon the spirit/wind (Ecclesiastes 1:5-6)
רח is the root of the word רוח ‘ruach’, the Spirit.
The Hebrew word תקופה ‘tequfah’ comes from the root קף which literally means the ‘sun speaks.’
The Hebrew words used in reference to time further reveal that time is linked to the movement of the heavenly bodies.
עת
עת (et) which pictographically means to ‘see the cross’, and in ancient Hebrew thinking meant to ‘see the mark.’ What is this ‘mark’? It is the sun setting (death) and rising (resurrection) above the horizon.
Gen 1:14 And God said, Let luminaries be in the expanse of the heavens, to divide between the day and the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years.

The signs of the heavens are a mark/reminder of the covenant with His people.
Jer 33:25 So says YHWH, If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of the heavens and earth,
Jer 33:26 then I also will reject the seed of Jacob, and My servant David, not to take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will bring back their captivity and have pity on them.
It is YHWH that created the mazzaroth/constellations
Job 26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
Job 38:31 Can you bind the bands of the Pleiades, or loosen the cords of Orion?
Job 38:32 Can you bring out the constellations in their season; or can you guide the Bear with its sons?
Job 38:33 Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
He has numbered & named the stars
Isa 40:26 Lift up your eyes on high and look: Who has created these? Who brings out their host by number? By greatness of vigor, and might of power, He calls them all by names; not one is lacking.
Psa 147:4 He appoints the number** of the stars; He calls to them all by names.
**The Hebrew word for number here is מספר ‘mispar’ from the root ספר ‘saphar’ which means a record/scroll. Brown Driver Briggs Hebrew dictionary defines מספר ‘mispar’ as a number or tale. A tale is an account telling a story. This is what the number of the stars does. It tells the story of the Gospel.
Rom 10:17 Then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God.
Rom 10:18 But I say, Did they not hear? Yes, rather, “into all the earth their voice went out, and to the ends of the world their words.”
In Romans 10, Paul is referring back to Psalm 19 which is speaking of the path of the sun and its orbit {תקופה ‘tequfah’}.
Psa 19:1 To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens are recounting the glory of God, and the expanse proclaiming His handiwork.
Psa 19:2 Day by day they pour forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.
Psa 19:3 There is no speech, nor are there words where their voice is not heard.
Psa 19:4 Their measuring line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world; in them He has set up a dwelling-place for the sun,
Psa 19:5 and he comes forth like a bridegroom from his canopy. He rejoices like a hero to run a race;
Psa 19:6 his going forth from the end of the heavens, and his orbit to their ends; and nothing is hidden from his heat.
“Albert Churchward, in The Signs and Symbols of Primordial Man, sums up the influence of the zodiac upon religious symbolism in the following words: “The division here [is] in twelve parts, the twelve signs of the Zodiac, twelve tribes of Israel, twelve gates of heaven mentioned in Revelation, and twelve entrances or portals to be passed through in the Great Pyramid, before finally reaching the highest degree, and twelve Apostles in the Christian doctrines, and the twelve original and perfect points in Masonry.”
“The ancients believed that the theory of man’s being made in the image of God was to be understood literally. They maintained that the universe was a great organism not unlike the human body, and that every phase and function of the Universal Body had a correspondence in man. The most precious Key to Wisdom that the priests communicated to the new initiates was what they termed the law of analogy. Therefore, to the ancients, the study of the stars was a sacred science, for they saw in the movements of the celestial bodies the ever-present activity of the Infinite Father.” {Secret Teachings of All Ages 151}
As seen above, the movement of the sun through the skies is like the figure eight. This has been corrupted into the image of the oroboros.
http://www.crystalinks.com/ouroboros.html
“The zodiac as a tail-eating snake (Ouroboros) symbolizes the eternity of Time and the boundary of the universe. Below it, the double lion Routi (‘Yesterday and Tomorrow’), the agency of resurrection, supporting the newborn Sun God.”
The Milky Way
“The Milky Way Galaxy is the inspiration for the symbol of the Ouroboros. Myth refers to a serpent of light residing in the heavens. The Milky Way is this serpent, and viewed at galactic central point near Sagittarius, this serpent eats its own tail.”
The Milky Way is related to the path of the sun through the mazzaroth mentioned above.
This word ‘mazzalah’ is only used one time in Scripture and brings forth some interesting connections to the current study. It is found in 2 Kings 23:5 where the account of Josiah destroying the corrupted religion of Israel is found. The Torah of YHWH had been found and when Josiah saw how far Israel had went astray he cut a covenant with YHWH in repentance to turn back to Him and follow His Word.
2Ki 23:4 And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring out from the temple of YHWH all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for Asherah, and for all the host of the heavens. And he burned them at the outside of Jerusalem, in the fields of Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.
2Ki 23:5 And he caused to cease the idolatrous priests (כמרים ‘kemarim’) whom the kings of Judah had given place to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places around Jerusalem, and those burning incense to Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to constellations (מזּלה ‘mazzalah’), and to all the host of the heavens.
2Ki 23:6 And he brought out the sacred pole (אשׁרה ‘asherah’) from the house of YHWH to the outside of Jerusalem, to the torrent Kidron, and burned it at the torrent Kidron, and ground it to powder, and threw the powder of it on the graves of the sons of the people. {Notice the thematic connections to the Golden calf incident in the wilderness…the mixture of the worship of YHWH with the mystery religions of the heathen}
The ‘sacred pole’ mentioned above brings forth another connection to the oroboros which is the symbol of the yin and yang.
Yin Yang – Oroboros connection
“In some versions of the Ouroboros, the body is half light and half dark, alluding in this way to the successive counterbalancing of opposing principles as illustrated in the Chinese Yin-Yang symbol for instance.”
The Yin Yang is linked to the calendar through the gnomen which can be used to find the tequfot.
The first month of the year is known as Abib
Exo 23:15 You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I have commanded you, at the set time of the month of Abib. For in it you came out from Egypt, and they shall not appear before Me empty.
Deu 16:1 Observe the month Abib, and perform the Passover to YHWH your God. For in the month of Abib YHWH your God brought you out of Egypt by night.
Here we see that abib means something new, which continues the next generation.
Aviv comes from root av:

Here again we see that the word aviv is tracing back to something new or fresh and something that continues. This is connected to the calendar in that Spring is the new/fresh start of the year, continuing the cycle of the years anew. Just as the word indicates. Interesting, the pictograph means a pole. In order to find the equinoxes in ancient times a pole was used.
Pages 73-74 of Pannekoek state, “The Babylonians, according to Greek testimony, used a vertical pole for measuring shadow length; thus they could determine the moments of solstice and, as medium points between the solstices, the moments of vernal and autumnal equinoxes.”
http://www.astro.uu.nl/~strous/AA/en/antwoorden/zonpositie.html
At the meridian transit of the Sun,
1. the Sun is due north or due south (depending on your location), so the shadow of a vertical pole points straight south or north. If you mark a line from the bottom of the pole that goes straight north or south, then the meridian transit occurs when the shadow of the pole falls on that line.
2. the Sun is highest in the sky, so a vertical pole casts the shortest shadow. When the shadow is shortest, then the meridian transit is there.
Yin Yang – Obelisk – As above, so below
In Cabala, the Sacred Tree of the Sephiroth is claimed to represent the Cosmos, including God (male), his Shekinah (Anna, the Goddess/female), and the Kingdom of Zion. As shown here, the Foundation of all things is the male genitals, or the sex generative process. (Zolar’s Encyclopedia of Ancient and Forbidden Knowledge, Arco Publishing, 1984)
Washington Monument

The 4 sides of the Washington Monument are aligned with the cardinal directions (i.e., east, west, north, and south). To the east is the Capitol, to the west is the Lincoln Memorial, to the south is the Jefferson Memorial and to the north is the White House.
At the ground level each side of the monument measures 55.5 feet long, which is equal to 666 inches. The height of the obelisk is 555.5 feet, which is equal to 6,666 inches.
Interestingly, this link between the Temple and the tequfot can also be portrayed as a hexagram.
“If a rod is placed on the east side of the circle at sunrise, the rising sun on the summer solstice will project a shadow across the southern half of the circle. At the end of that same day the setting sun will cast a shadow in the opposite direction that will mirror the morning shadow. If the same exercise is performed on the winter solstice, two lines of shadow will mirror the summer solstice in the northern half of the circle. Where the lines intersect in the middle of the circle they complete a lozenge with a shape unique to that latitude.”
The two most important feast days in the Masonic calendar are both St John’s days. One is dedicated to John the Baptist, on or around the summer solstice, and the other to John the Divine, on or around the winter solstice. These two days therefore represent the celebration of the two solstices, marked by the sunrise lines of Jachin and Boaz in the Enochian temple of Freemasonry.” {Hooked X pg 153}
Two Johns
The analemma connection
“Some desk research had shown that the meaning of the spiral had been found by Charles Ross, who had demonstrated it to be the path traced by the shadow of the sun over a quarter of a year. This connected with our observations, because the only essential pieces of equipment for building an Uriel machine are two straight sticks to align the equinoctial shadows and mark out the centre and the sunrise/sunset. If those same two sticks are placed in the ground a few feet apar, the sun will cast some very interesting shadows over the year. As the sun moves outward from the spring equinox to the summer solstice it will trace a spiral on the ground, then it will retrace itself back to the starting point for the autumn equinox. Then it moves out in the opposite direction to create a spiral in the other direction, before winding backwards again to its starting point.” {Uriel’s Machine pg 286-287}
This double helix analemma is further linked through the degrees of the sun at the equinoxes.
The word for ‘equinox’ in Hebrew is tequphah. It literally means the mark of the sun. At the Spring tequfah the sun is at 23 degrees in the Tropic of Cancer. At the Autumn tequfah the sun is at 23 degrees in the Tropic of Capricorn. 23 +23 = 46. 46 is the number of chromosomes in the human body that stores our DNA. The chromosome is also in the shape of a cross/tav.
