Muse

The Hebrew word סִיחַ (siyach) — often translated “meditate,” “speak,” or “commune” — carries the beautiful picture of being swept away in thought. It is not passive daydreaming, but an active, all-consuming engagement with God’s Word, His creation, His mighty works, and the days of old. From the psalmist who mused on the law day and night to the one who considers the heavens and the fish of the sea, Scripture shows us that constant musing on the Lord and His Word is the pathway to wisdom, joy, prosperity, and intimate fellowship with our Creator.

Psa 63:6 when I remember You upon my bed. I will meditate on You in the night watches.

We are to think on the Word at all times
Deu 6:6 And these Words which I am commanding you today shall be on your heart.
Deu 6:7 And you shall teach them to your sons, and shall speak of them as you sit in your house, and as you walk in the way, and as you are lying down, and as you are rising up.
Deu 6:8 And you shall bind them for a sign on your hand; and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
Deu 6:9 And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house, and on your gates.

Jos 1:8 This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, and you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you shall be on guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall prosper your way, and then you shall act wisely.

Psalm 19:1-6 creation, 19:7-9 Torah
Psa 19:1 To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens are recounting the glory of God, and the expanse proclaiming His handiwork.

Psa 19:4 Their measuring line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world; in them He has set up a dwelling-place for the sun,
Psa 19:5 and he comes forth like a bridegroom from his canopy. He rejoices like a hero to run a race;
Psa 19:6 his going forth from the end of the heavens, and his orbit to their ends; and nothing is hidden from his heat.
Psa 19:7 The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul. The Testimony of Jehovah
is sure, making the simple wise.
Psa 19:8 The precepts of Jehovah
are right, rejoicing the heart. The commands of Jehovah are pure, giving light to the eyes.
Psa 19:9 The fear of Jehovah
is clean, enduring forever. The judgments of Jehovah are true, they are righteous altogether.

The Scriptures admonish us to think upon that which is good, and righteous etc.

Php 4:8 For the rest, brothers, whatever is true, whatever honorable, whatever is right, whatever pure, whatever lovely, whatever of good report, if of any virtue, and if of any praise, think on these things.

What is good? His creation

Gen 1:31 And God saw everything that He had made and behold, it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning the sixth day.

God is good
Psa 119:68 You are good and do good; teach me Your Statutes.

Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Mar 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Luk 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.

Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think (λογίζομαι ‘logizomai’) on these things.

λογίζομαι ‘logizomai’ is the middle voice of the word λόγος ‘logos’ which means the Word.
