Shadows of Messiah
In Hebrew this word is גיאולוגיה which is a transliteration of the word ‘geology’. The word is derived from the Greek γῆ, gê, meaning earth “earth” and λόγος, logos, meaning “speech”/the Word.
Earth sciences (also known as geoscience, the geosciences or Earth Science) is an all-embracing term for the sciences related to the planet Earth. It is a special type of planetary science which deals with the structure and composition of the Earth, its origins, physical features, changing aspects, and all of its natural phenomena. Earth is the only planet known to have life, and hence the only planet with biological processes and a biosphereclick here.
The major disciplines of Earth sciences use physics, mathematics, and chemistry to build a quantitative understanding of the principal areas or spheres of the Earth system.
The study of the earthly points us to the heavenly.
Joh 3:12 If I tell you earthly things, and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
1Co 15:45 So also it has been written, “The” first “man”, Adam, “became a living soul;” the last Adam a life-giving Spirit. Gen. 2:7
1Co 15:46 But not the spiritual first, but the natural; afterward the spiritual.
1Co 15:47 The first man was out of earth, earthy. The second Man was the Lord out of Heaven. Gen. 2:7
1Co 15:48 Such as is the earthy man, such also are the earthy ones. And such as is the heavenly Man, such also are the heavenly ones.
1Co 15:49 And as we bore the image of the earthy man, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
The natural (earthly things) point to the Heavenly (spiritual things). Everywhere we look on earth, the image of Messiah is seen.
He is described as the Living Waters (Jeremiah 2:13; 17:13; Isaiah 44:3; John 4:10; 7:37 etc), the Rock (Psalm 18:2, 31; 62:7; 92:15; Deuteronomy 32:3-4; Isaiah 44:8; 1 Corinthians 10:4, 9; Genesis 49:24), He is described as the Rain (Hosea 6:3; Deuteronomy 32:3; Psalm 72:6; Isaiah 45:8), Snow (Isaiah 55:10), His voice is likened to thunder, lightning and many waters (Revelation 1:15; Ezekiel 43:2). He is the Tree of Life (John 14:6; Proverbs 3:18) and the Spirit (wind) (1 Peter 1:11; Romans 8:9). He is described as flowers (Song of Songs 2:1) and the clouds point to Him (Isaiah 19:1; Psalm 104:3; Matthew 26:64; Daniel 7:13; Revelation 1:7; 14:14; Exodus 16:10; 40:34 etc). The Earth reveals His Glory
Joh 12:37 But though He had done so many miraculous signs before them, they did not believe into Him,
Joh 12:38 so that the Word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, “Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?” Isa. 53:1
Joh 12:39 Because of this they could not believe, because Isaiah said again,
Joh 12:40 “He has blinded their eyes” and “has hardened their heart,” “that they might not see with the eyes” and “understand with the heart,” “and be converted,” “and I should heal them.” Isa. 6:10
Joh 12:41 Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory, and spoke about Him.
Albert Barnes commentary Joh 12:41 –
When he saw his glory – Isa_6:1-10. Isaiah saw the Lord (in Hebrew, יהוה Yahweh) sitting on a throne and surrounded with the seraphim. This is perhaps the only instance in the Bible in which Yahweh is said to have been seen by man, and for this the Jews affirm that Isaiah was put to death. God had said Exo_33:20, “No man shall see me and live;” and as Isaiah affirmed that he had seen Yahweh, the Jews, for that and other reasons, put him to death by sawing him asunder. See Introduction to Isaiah, Section 2.
By his glory is meant the manifestation of him – the Shechinah, or visible cloud that was a representation of God, and that rested over the mercy-seat. This was regarded as equivalent to seeing God, and John here expressly applies this to the Lord Jesus Christ
John affirms that it was the glory of the Messiah that Isaiah saw, and yet Isaiah affirms that it was Yahweh; and from this the inference is irresistible that John regarded Jesus as the Yahweh whom Isaiah saw.
Isa 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, then I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up. And His train filled the temple.
Isa 6:2 Above it stood the seraphs. Each one had six wings; with two he covered his face; and with two he covered his feet; and with two he flew.
Isa 6:3 And one cried to the other and said, Holy, holy, holy is YHWH of Hosts; all the earth is full of His glory!
KJV footnote His glory is the fulnesse of the whole earth
Isa 6:4 And the doorposts shook from the voice of the one who cried; and the house was filled with smoke.
Isa 6:5 Then I said, Woe is me! For I am cut off; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live amongst a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, YHWH of Hosts.
Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of YHWH, as the waters cover the sea. This is the definition of eternal life to know His Glory (John 17)
Yahshua is the glory of YHWH
Messiah is the Lamb of God (John 1:29, 36; Revelation 5:6; 7:17; 14:10; 15:3; 19:9; 21:23; 22:1,3)
The Lamb and the 7 Spirits of God
Rev 5:6 And I saw, and behold, in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, was a Lamb standing, as having been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, having been sent out into all the earth.
Isa 11:1 And a Shoot goes out from the stump of Jesse, and a Branch will bear fruit out of his roots.
Isa 11:2 And the Spirit of YHWH shall rest on Him; He will have the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and power, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.
Isa 11:3 And He is made to breathe in the fear of YHWH. But He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears.
The ‘Shoot’ of Jesse mentioned above is seen in the Olive tree
Rom 11:16 Now if the firstfruit is holy, so also the lump. And if the root is holy, so also the branches.
The Olive Tree of Israel is linked to the menorah (Zechariah 4:14) and the body of Messiahclick here.
7 Branches of the Menorah correspond to the 7 continents
The center of the Menorah is the Messiah (the yarekh/body). The center of the earth is the land of Israel (Ezekiel 8:12), whose center is Jerusalem which is further divided into 7 mountains (1 Enoch 17:6-8; 24:1). The center of Jerusalem is the Temple which contains the 7 branched menorah, the Holy of Holies is the center of the Temple and the Ark is placed in the center of the Holy of Holies which contains the 7 pillars of Wisdom (Proverbs 9:1) (Midrash Tanhuma).
On a deeper level, the Lamb of God further links to the earth through Genesis 22 which took place at the above mentioned Mountain.
Gen 22:11 And the Angel of YHWH called to him from the heavens and said, Abraham! Abraham! And he said, Behold me.
Gen 22:12 And He said, Do not lay your hand on the boy, nor do anything to him. For now I know that you are a God-fearer, and you have not withheld your son, your only one, from Me.
Gen 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked. And behold! A ram behind him was entangled in a thicket by its horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it for a burnt offering instead of his son.
Gen 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place YHWH Will See; so that it is said until this day, In the mount of YHWH it will be seen.
Gen 22:14 ויקרא אברהם שׁם־המקום ההוא יהוה יראה אשׁר יאמר היום בהר יהוה יראה*׃
*Literally, in/on the mountain YHWH will be seen.
Abraham calls the place YHWH Yireh (YHWH will be seen) Yireh is in the Kal stem, 3rd person masculine singular future tense.
Joh 8:56 Your father Abraham leaped for joy that he should see My day, and he saw, and rejoiced.
Joh 8:57 Then the Jews said to Him, You do not yet have fifty years, and have You seen Abraham?
Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Before Abraham came to be, I AM!
On the mountain YHWH will be seen. Yayrah’eh is in the Niphal stem 3rd person masculine singular future tense. Truly YHWH will provide HIMSELF as a lamb in the place of Isaac (mankind).
Gen 22:7 And Isaac spoke to his father Abraham and said, My father. And he said, Behold me. And he said, Behold, the fire and the wood! But where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
Gen 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will see to the lamb for Himself, for a burnt offering. And the two of them went together.
the Gematria of הארץ (the earth) is 296. הר האלהים (the Mountain of Elohim) is 296.
A further connection to the earth and Messiah is seen by the gematria of לאור גוים (For a light of the nations) which is also 296.
Isa 49:3 and said to Me, You are My servant, Israel, You in whom I shall be glorified. This verse is referring to Messiah as Yisrael, the Olive treeclick here
Isa 49:6 And He said, It is too little that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You for a light of the nations, that You may be My salvation (Heb. Yeshuah) to the end of the earth.
Isa 42:6 I, YHWH, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand, and will keep You, and give You for a covenant of the people, for a Light of the nations;
Luk 2:32 a Light for revelation to the nations, and the Glory of Your people Israel.
Isa 40:5 And the glory of YHWH shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of YHWH has spoken.
How was His glory revealed?
oh 8:28 Then Jesus said to them, When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM; and from Myself I do nothing; but as My Father taught Me, these things I speak.
Joh 19:19 And Pilate also wrote a title and put it on the cross. And having been written, it was: JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all to Myself (John 8:28 Messiah states this is how they will know He is ‘I AM’).
Joh 12:33 But He said this, signifying by what kind of death He was about to die.
Joh 12:34 The crowd answered Him, We heard out of the Law that The Christ remains to the age. And how do You say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?
Joh 12:35 Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, that darkness not overtake you. And the one walking in the darkness does not know where he is going.
Joh 12:36 While you have the Light, believe into the Light, that you may become sons of Light. Jesus spoke these things, and going away He was hidden from them.
The pictographs of יהוה speak of Him being revealed through the nails in His Hands
Joh 20:27 Then He said to Thomas, Bring your finger here and see My hands, and bring your hand and thrust into My side, and be not unbelieving, but believing.
Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!
Why was He manifested? To take away our sins
Heb 9:26 since He must often have suffered from the foundation of the world. But now once for all, at the completion of the ages, He has been manifested for putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.
1Jn 3:5 And you know that that One was revealed that He might take away our sins, and sin is not in Him.
The word for earth (ארץ) means to be broken. He suffered and was broken so that we may be His brethren.
Heb 2:9 but we do see Jesus crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death was made a little less than the angels, so that by the grace of God He might taste of death for all.
Heb 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, because of whom are all things, and through whom are all things, having brought many sons to glory, to perfect Him as the Author of their salvation through sufferings.
Heb 2:11 For both the One sanctifying and the ones being sanctified are all of one; for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers,
Heb 2:12 saying, “I will announce Your name to My brothers; I will hymn to You in the midst of the assembly.” Psa. 22:22
Heb 2:13 And again, “I will be trusting on Him.” Isa. 8:17
And again, “Behold, I and the children whom God gave to Me.” Isa. 8:18
Heb 2:14 Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:15 and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery through all the lifetime to live.
Heb 2:16 For indeed He does not take hold of angels, “but He takes hold of” “the seed of Abraham.” Isa. 41:8, 9
The above Scripture links death with suffering. This is why man returns to the dust when He dies. He goes down into the earth (eretz) which is pictured by suffering/being broken. Man then is resurrected into the image of the one who’s will He followed. Resurrected into the Image of Messiah and covered in His garments of salvation and bearing the fruit of righteousness or resurrected into the image of the lawless one, who’s garments are as filthy rags and who’s fruit is rotten, who will burn in the lake of fire.
Going back to the number 296
296 (ha’eretz) x 3 which represents resurrection and completionclick here = 888 = Ιησους (Yahshua in Greek).
The number 888 is seen in Psalm 98:2-3
Psa 98:2 YHWH has revealed His salvation; He unveiled His righteousness to the eyes of the nations.
Psa 98:3 He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
The phrase ‘salvation of our God’ = 888
The phrase above in verse 1, ‘YHWH has made known his salvation’ =913. This is equal to the phrase ‘In the Beginning’ and ‘Everlasting Light’ in Hebrew. The first letter of ‘In the Beginning’ is an enlarged ב(bet) which means an house.
Interestingly, 913 also is associated with His House.
Messiah Jesus connects the house to His flesh.
Joh 2:19 Jesus said to them, Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up.
Joh 2:20 Then the Jews said, This sanctuary was forty six years being built, and do You raise it up in three days?
Joh 2:21 But He spoke about the sanctuary of His body.
The Earth
There are numerous words in Hebrew translated as earth/world. Adamah, eretz, cheres, yabasha, aphar, cheled, olam, tebel,
אדמה (adamah)
The ground (adamah) is linked with man (adam).
The root of this word means the ‘likeness’ of something as in a son in the likeness of his father. As seen above in 1 Corinthians 15, the 1st Adam (man) from the ground (adamah) was a shadow picture of the 2nd Adam (Messiah) from heaven. ‘Damah’ is used in reference to man being in the image of God (Genesis 1:26; 5:1, Ezekiel 1:26; Daniel 3:25)
ארץ (earth)
The word eretz means something that is broken up or divided. As in the 7 divisions of the earth into 7 continents.
The 7 continents correspond to the Menorah which is a picture of the body of Messiah.
The body has 7 main parts: head, 2 limbs, torso, 2 legs, privies. Interestingly the earth is made up of roughly 70% water and our bodies are made up of roughly 70% water.
The God Code – Gregg Braden pg 84
“Through studies such as the IGY (International Geophysical Year), we now know that relatively few elements compose most of the earth’s outer crust, including the layers beneath the oceans. Silicon, oxygen, hydrogen, and aluminum amount for more than 90 percent of the composition of this layers. Of even greater significance is the discovery that two of those four elements – hydrogen and oxygen – also account for more than 99 percent of our bodies as well!”
the taxonomy of soil divides the types of dirt into twelve representing the 12 Tribes of Yisrael (His Body).
Alfisols, Andisols, Aridsols, Entisols, Gelisols, Histosols, Inceptisols, Mollisols, Oxisols, Spodosols, Ultisols, Vertisols.
Interestingly, the crust of the earth is made up of 12 plates
Messiah & the Land
Isa 7:14 So, The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name Immanuel.
Isa 8:8 And he shall pass through Judah. He shall overflow and go over. He shall reach to the neck; and his wings will be stretching out, filling the breadth of your land, O Immanuel.
Isa 8:9 O peoples, suffer evil, and be broken! And listen, all from the far places of the earth; gird yourselves, and be broken. Gird yourselves and be broken!
Isa 8:10 Counsel a counsel, and it is frustrated; speak a word, and it shall not rise; for God is with us.
The body of Messiah & the land
Deu 32:43 Rejoice, O nations, of His people; for He shall avenge the blood of His servants, and shall render vengeance to His foes, and shall have mercy on His land and His people.
His land and His people is literally ‘His land, His people’
Zion = a land & a people
Isa 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
Isa 60:14 Also the sons of ones afflicting you shall come bowing to you. And all who despised you shall fall at the soles of your feet. And they shall call you, The City of Jehovah, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Isa 62:11 Behold, Jehovah has made it to be heard to the end of the earth; Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold! Your salvation comes! Behold! His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.
Isa 62:12 And they shall call them, The Holy People, the Redeemed of Jehovah. And to you it shall be called, Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.
Mat 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city situated on a mountain cannot be hidden.
Mat 5:15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under the grain measure, but on the lampstand; and it shines for all those in the house.
Mat 5:16 So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father in Heaven.
Rev 21:9 And one of the seven angels came to me, he having the seven bowls being filled with the seven last plagues, and spoke with me, saying, Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.
Rev 21:10 And he carried me in spirit onto a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, holy Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God,
Rev 21:11 having the glory of God. And its light was like a very precious stone, as a jasper stone, being clear as crystal,
Rev 21:12 and having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates and names having been inscribed, which are of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel.
The people, the land, & the Covenant are linked
Lev 26:42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
His Name
1Ki 14:21 And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah an Ammonitess.
The land is linked with the Temple
1Ki 9:3 And YHWH said to him, I have heard your prayer and your supplication with which you have made supplication before Me; I have sanctified
Deu 12:5 But unto the place* which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation (shakhan) shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
*maqom is linked with His name, the Temple & ‘seeing’ God
The gematria of YHWH is 26 which corresponds to the three space dimensions: length, width and depth which contain 6 surfaces, 12 lines and 8 points (26).
The gematria of maqom = 746
Lev 24:11 And the son of the woman of Israel blasphemed the Name, and cursed. And they brought him in to Moses; and his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
Profaning His name is the 3rd commandment spoken by YHWH in Exodus 20. It was the 3rd day of creation that the dry land appeared.click here
Gen 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be collected to one place
Amazingly, Jesus of Nazareth has the same gematria as maqom and the Name.
Rev 2:26 And the one overcoming, and the one keeping My works* until the end, “I will give to him
Rev 2:27 and “He will shepherd them with an iron staff” (they are “broken to pieces like clay vessels”), as I also have received from My Father.
*Interestingly, the gematria of maqom without using the final form as 400 but as 40 is 186. ‘His work’ in Hebrew (pa’alu) also has the gematria of 186.
YHWH is also related to 186. Take each of the letters from YHWH, square them (since a “place” is an area, so squared units), and you get 100+25+36+25=186.
Gen 28:16 And Jacob awakened from his sleep, and said, Surely YHWH is in this place (bamaqom), and I did not know.
Gen 28:17 And he was afraid, and said, How fearful is this place (maqom)! This is nothing except the house of God, and this is the door to Heaven.
Gen 28:18 And Jacob started up early in the morning and took the stone which he had placed at his head, and he placed it as a pillar; and he poured oil on the top of it.
Gen 28:19 And he called the name of that place, The House of God. And yet the name of the city was at first Luz.
Literally, in the hills of this area the Name of YHWH is carved out
This word maqom is also used in Genesis 22 in speaking of the place where Isaac was to be offered, mentioned above.
Gen 22:4 And on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from a distance.
Gen 22:9 And they came to the place which God had said to him. And Abraham built there the altar, and arranged the wood. And he bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on the wood.
Little Guy in His Eye
Yisrael is a people & a land which YHWH looks upon at all times which is a microcosm of all the earth.
Talmud – Derech Eretz Zuta 9
‘The world is like a human eyeball. The white of the eye is the ocean surrounding the world, the iris is the continent, The pupil is Jerusalem, And the image in the pupil is the Holy Temple.
Deu 11:11 But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:
Deu 11:12 A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
His eyes scan throughout all the earth
2Ch 16:9 For the eyes of YHWH run to and fro in all the earth in order to be strong for those with their heart perfect toward Him. You have acted foolishly in this. For this reason, from now on there shall be wars with you.
Pro 15:3 The eyes of YHWH are in every place (maqom) watching the evil and the good.
Rev 5:6 And I saw, and behold, in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, was a Lamb standing, as having been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, having been sent out into all the earth.
Zec 3:9 For, behold, I will bring forth My Servant, the BRANCH. For behold, the stone which I have given before Joshua, on the one stone are seven eyes. I will engrave its engraving, says YHWH of Hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
His eyes are on His Temple
1Ki 9:3 And YHWH said to him, I have heard your prayer and your supplication with which you have made supplication before Me; I have sanctified
1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
The root of ‘eretz’ is ‘ratz’ which means broken fragments of a pot which were used as writing surfaces.
Isa 66:1 So says YHWH: Heaven is My throne, and earth the footstool of My feet. Where then is the house that you build for Me? And where then is the place of My rest?
Isa 66:2 And My hand has made all these things, even all these things exist, declares YHWH. But I will look toward this one, to the afflicted, and to the contrite of spirit, even trembling at My Word.
The word ‘will’ comes from ratson
H7522 רצן / רצון râtsôn
Ratson comes from this same root, רצ

The Hebrew word for will/desire is messages that are written down to be passed to another.
What is the Father’s will? To keep His Torah/Word…to keep His message
Psa 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
Psa 40:8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
This is what the Messiah walked in. He was clothed in the garments of the Word. It was the body prepared for Him (Hebrew 10:5-7). He took on flesh (became like Adam/adamah) to bring forth His ‘message’.
חרס (cheres)
The potter and clay again link the earth with Messiah and His body.
Isa 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Jer 18:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
Jer 18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.
Jer 18:3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
Jer 18:5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Jer 18:6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
This prophecy in Jeremiah is speaking of Yisrael being reformed in and through Messiahclick here.
יבשה (dry land)
Yabashah is linked with resurrection/salvation:
On the 3rd day the earth came forth out of the waters (Genesis 1:9-10click here)
Yisrael crossed the Yam Suf (Red Sea) on dry land (Exodus 14:16, 22, 29)
Yisrael crossed the Jordan on dry land (Joshua 4:22)
Jonah came forth out of the belly of the great fish after 3 days and nights (Jonah 2:9-10)
עפר (aphar)
‘Aphar’ means the dust or powder. Man, and specifically Yisrael (His body) are likened to dust. (Genesis 2:7; 3:19; 13:16; 18:27) This word is also linked to the resurrection. (Isaiah 26:19; Daniel 12:2).
The World
The Hebrew words used for the world are linked with the waters and time. Tebel (flowing of water) Cheled (a passing through space or time) Olam (forever, world, universe). The etymology of the English word for world has similar meaning.
Cosmos – In the Scriptures the word kosmos is used as the circle of the earth, the inhabitants of the earth, world affairs, the world, the universe and it also has the meaning of order.
Isa 60:1 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of YHWH has risen on you!
Isa 60:2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples. But YHWH shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you.
The Hebrew words for ‘lightclick here’ and ‘wordclick here’ are also similar in that they have the same meaning of order.
Light comes from the following root word:
Word comes from the following root word:
Webster’s
Order
OR’DER, n. [L. ordo.]
The english word order comes from the Latin ordo. Tracing this word back in the Latin vulgate brings forth an interesting connection to the concept of light being order.
Job is speaking of death/sheol/hell as a land of darkness without order. Is this the true meaning of ‘hell on earth’. No order. No light.
Job 10:21 before I go; and I shall not return; to the land of darkness, and the shadow of death;
Job 10:22 a land of obscurity, the darkness of the shadow of death, and without any order (Latin ordo, Heb. seder); even the shining is as darkness.
The word for seder and dabar both come from the root
The world can mean the physical earth and also human affairs. This concept is seen in the Scriptures through the word ‘tebel’ which means a flowing of waters. In the Scriptures, people are likened to waters.
The collecting of the waters is a picture of the body of Messiah. There are 7 bodies of water on the earth which correspond to the 7 branches of the Menorah, yet Genesis 1 describes the gathering of these waters into one, just as the Menorah was made of on beaten piece of gold (Exodus 25:36).
The link between water and people is further seen in the word for people in Hebrew.
The word tebel also links to time as it is a cognate of the word בלא which means to get old, or a flowing away of life. Both words come from the root בל which means a flowing and is the origin of the English word ball (circle). Here we see a link between the word for world, peoples, waters, fear and the circle.
Fear & Spinning. Waters and rain are related to fear in the Hebrew language.
One of the words in Hebrew for rain is יר, which means to throw, as in rain or an arrow (lightning). This is the same root in Hebrew for fear, ‘yare,’ and the Torah. Amazingly, the voice of God is described as many waters {Ezekiel 43:2} as well as thunder {Job 40:9; Revelation 14:2}.
Spinning/stirring of the insides is related to fear and trouble. Interestingly, the root of this word bal, is the same root for yobel/horn (Exodus 20:18). Mabul, which is the word for Flood comes from this same root as well.
Tabernacle connection

The word for the Tabernacle of meeting in Hebrew is ohel moed. Moed is translated as feasts/congregation/meeting. The picture of עד is repeating cycles of meeting at a tent door. The feasts are linked with the Temple.
Circle of the Earth & π
Isa 40:22 He who sits on the circle of the earth, even those living in it are like grasshoppers; He who stretches the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in;
Pro 8:27 When He prepared the heavens, I {Wisdom/Messiah} was there; when He set a circle on the face of the deep,
Pro 8:30 then I was at His side, like a master workman*; and I was His delights day by day, rejoicing before Him at every time;

Chuck Missler, in his video ‘What is Truth?’ brings forth some interesting information about the equations of pi and the mathematical constant of ‘e’. These are the only two ‘constants’ in our universe.

The Mysteries of Pi and e
by Chuck Missler
The recent discovery that the speed of light is not a constant has created quite a stir – and rethinking – in both physics and cosmology. (Although the spate of recent articles always fails to credit Barry Setterfield for calling this to our attention over a decade ago!) However, there does appear to be at least two intrinsic constants in the universe: p and e.
We all met p (“pi”) in school when we had to deal with the circumference of a circle and similar matters. “Pi are squared” sounds like bad grammar, but it is correct geometry for the area of a circle, pr2. We approximated it with 22/7, until we got into engineering circles where we learned that, more precisely, it was 3.141592654…
Natural Logarithms
Perhaps less well known to most of our less technical subscribers is the base of Naperian (“natural”) logarithms, e . It shows up in myriads of places in advanced engineering and mathematics such as:
The ancient Hebrew sages believed, of course, that God created the heavens and the earth. However, some of them believed that the Word of God was the very template with which He did it.
There are two well-known references to the creation in the Scripture: Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1. Let’s look “underneath” the text of each of these.
Pi can also be calculated from Genesis 1:1 by taking the 22 Hebrew letters (that were used in creation) and dividing them by 7 for the seven words of this verse.
22 / 7 = 3.14
The Number 314
From biblewheel.com:
The connection between Book (Biblos = 314) and the Bible and the Number pi = 3.14159265… is very interesting in light of the continued fraction
convergent pi ~ 22/7 = 3.142857_ and the structure of the Bible as a Wheel of 22 Spokes and 7 symmetrical canonical divsions (cf. The Canon Wheel Explanation).
Circle, Time & the Earth
Isa 57:15 For so says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity {עד}, and His name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the contrite and humble of spirit; to make live the spirit of the humble and to make live the heart of the contrite ones.
Eternity in this verse is from:
His Name is linked with Time
The Temple was a place for His Name (1 Kings 5:5; 8:29; Jeremiah 7:12) A place where Eternity could manifest in the time-space continuum.
Temple at the Center of Time – David Flynn pg 51
“[Isaac] Newton’s fluency in ancient Greek, Hebrew and Latin helped him a great deal, granting him understanding that the word ‘temple’ was related to ‘time.’
For example ‘ temple in Latin has the meaning: [tempus, tempor, time.] [templum, a space marked out, a building dedicated to a god, temple.] [tempora pl., the fitting or appointed time]
This is confirmed in the Hebrew. One of the names of the Tabernacle is ‘ohel moed’ which is translated as tent of meeting or the tabernace of the congregation. Ohel means tent and moed means appointed time.
The root meaning of mo’ed is to repeat or do again. It is a cyclical word. Moed is many times translated as ‘feast’ and not surprisingly the other Hebrew word for feast, ‘chag’ means a circle.
Temple at the Center of Time pg 16-17
“The revolution of science that Newton single-handedly achieved in Principia was primarily that the laws of motion and gravity, and the nature of space and time, had not manifested apart from his belief in the immutable truths of the Bible. From its pages, Newton found the path towards discovery in the natural universe. By his own words, the Bible was his source of inspiration for every theory that he conceived.“
“Newton believed that the code of civil and religious truth that God gave to Moses on Mount Sinai also contained the physical laws of creation. Because the central focus of the Torah was the ‘Ark of the Law’ and later the temple that housed it, Newton reasoned that the unifying theory of dimension should also be contained within both.”
Temple at the Center of Time pg 46
“Newton held the divine dimensions within the Temple of Solomon equal with the physical order of God’s creation, an order that was preserved in the length of the sacred cubit. Newton included statements of the temple’s design in context with the form and fulfillment of prophecy in his work Lexicon Propheticum (Dictionary of Prophecy), in which he says, ‘This structure commends itself by the utmost simplicity and harmony of all its proportions.’”
“In the late 1500s, the Spanish Jesuits Hieronymo Prado and his student Juan Bautista Villalpando wrote Explanationes in Ezechielem, in which he described the dimensions of Ezekiel’s temple in relations to the platonic structure of music, the order of the heavens and the design of creation. This work brought into focus the Renaissance ide of the temple as a microcosm of God’s creation, embodying the order of the universe.”
Temple at the Center of Time pg 52
David Flynn quotes the Maharal “HaMakom V’HaZman Echad Hu”, Time and Space are One.
Maimonides in Guide to the Perplexed stated:
“Time is an accident consequent upon motion and is necessarily attached to it. Neither of them exists without the other. Motions does not exist except in time, and time cannot be conceived by the intellect except together with motion. And all that with regard to which no motion can be found, does not fall under time.”
Navigation on the waters
Temple at the Center of Time pg 65-67
“From the greatest antiquity, the art of navigation has demonstrated a link between the heavens and earth. On the sea and in deserts without changing horizons, the sun, moon, and stars are the only reliable guides. The angle of the North star above the horizon reveals the latitude of the observer. However, the calculation of longitude (location east or west of a fixed point) is based on the precise timing of the sun or stars at their zenith (highest point in their travel across the sky). Both latitude and longitude are based on 360 degrees in a circle and the number of minutes and seconds in an hour (60).”
“In the New Testament, the Greek word naus means both a ‘center of the temple’ where the Ark stood in the Holy of Holies (Matthew 23:17) and ‘ship’ (Acts 27:41)….Naus is also the origin for the word nautical. Greek nau-tes which is related to the Hebrew word navta meaning ‘to stretch out’, ‘to move or travel’ and even a ‘measuring line,’ found in Job 38:5, Isaiah 44:13, and Lamentations 2:8″
“In nautical terms, time and distance are related. The speed that a ship travels across the water is the ‘knot,’ which is defined as on nautical mile per hour. The number of degrees of travel determines nautical miles over the Earth multiplied by 60 minutes in an hour. Distance in these degrees is calibrated using the terms ‘arc minutes’ and ‘arc seconds.’ This is, of course, due to the curvature of the Earth.”
As seen above, the Holy of Holies is called a ‘naus’ in Greek. In Hebrew it is ‘debir’ (1 Kings 6:5). Debir = the Word.
Temple at the Center of Time pg 91
“Motion cannot exist without time. Time does not exist without motion. The laws of space, gravity, and time bind us in our reality.
Temple at the Center of Time pg 102
“Nautical miles are based on the ration of degrees in a circle to minutes in an hour. The 360 degree circle and the 60 minute hour have existed from the birth of civilization. Each degree of the great circle of the Earth equals 60 nautical miles. the circumference of the earth is therefore 21,600 miles (360 x 60). This is related to the value of the common cubit, which is 21.60 inches.
The Cubit
The Cubit follows the Fibonacci pattern

The cubit’s connection to this study is fascinating. The themes before mentioned line up with the meaning of this word. The strong waters. Binding (gravity). The arm (right arm who created the universe and stretched for the heavens).
As seen above, ‘amon’ refers to Messiah. The Master craftsman beside the Father (Proverbs 8:30) He is the Arm of YHWH, who measures and spreads forth the universe.
Temple at the Center of Time pg 81
“Newton’s book A Dissertation upon the Sacred Cubit of the Jews was written during his work on gravitation. He believed that the sacred cubit would give him an accurate value of the diameter of the earth, a value needed for his calculations of gravity and calculus that he employed in Principia.”
Temple at the Center of Time pg 84-85
“The Israelite’s cubit in the time of Moses until Solomon was equal to 25.20 modern inches.”
Flanders Petrie in his study of ancient calibration called ‘Inductive Metrology’ pg 67 stated that the sacred cubit (25.20 inches) was the standard for all other measures including the British inch.
Interestingly, the Right Hand of YHWH that created and stretched forth/measured the Heavens is connected to this 25.20 number. In the handwriting on the wall in the book of Daniel the following Hebrew words were written.
Dan 5:25 And this is the writing that was written: A MINA, A MINA, A SHEKEL, AND HALF MINAS.
Dan 5:26 This is the meaning of the thing: A MINA: God has numbered your kingdom and finished it.
Dan 5:27 A SHEKEL: You are weighed in the balances and found lacking.
Dan 5:28 HALF MINAS: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.
Temple at the Center of Time pg 42
“MENE MENE TEKEL UPARSIN, were actually monetary values. These are described as the standards of weight for use in Ezekiel’s future temple in Jerusalem {Ezekiel 45:12}: ‘And the shekel (TEKEL) shall be twenty gerahs: twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, shall be your maneh (MINAH).’ The numeric quantity represented were units of ancient Chaldean weights and measures.
The gerah was the smallest proportion of weight used in Babylonian commerce at the time. Mene (1,000 gerahs), Mene (1,000 gerahs, Tekel (20 gerahs), and Peres, to divide the Mene (500 gerahs) equals 2,520.”
Temple at the Center of Time pg 86-87
“The ancient Jewish sages maintained that time and space were of the same distinction, implying that they mirror each other in shape….the pattern of both, according to the Law of God, is based on the number 2,520 and its fractal in the sacred cubit, 25.20.
It is significant that this number, encoded in the writing of the wall, manifested through the agency of a ‘hand,’ maintains the ancient metaphor of the ‘finger or hand of God’ working His will in the material universe.
However, it is the arm that extends the hand and fingers. These work to execute the will, to create, write, and even make war. The cubit was directly representative of these functions, and was the linear standard of all creation. James Strong (1822-1894), professor of biblical literature and exegetical theology at Troy University, further explained this concept:
‘In the figurative idiom of the Hebrew its name is characteristically amah, which is merely a variation of the word em, a mother, not so much because the forearm is the mother of the entire arm, but because the cubit (or ulna) is the ‘mother,’ as it were, of all dimensions whether in the human body or elsewhere.’”
“In his Prolegomena to a Lexicon propheticumhe, Newton lists the Sacred Cubit as 7 palms… The 7-palm cubit would stand out as sacred due to its relation to the number 7. Seven is the only number that does not divide evenly into 360. The sacred number, 2,520, (100 times the sacred cubit) is also the result of 360 x 7.”
The division of the day, from sunset to sunset, is the course of the sun moving in a circle around the earth (360 degrees). A week is 7 times 360 which is 2,520. This number points to the kingdom of Heaven in that 7 days corresponds to the 7,000 year plan of Elohim. The fall of Babylon and Belshazzar’s demise is related to the fall of Jericho where Yisrael was commanded to go around it’s wall’s in a specific way related to this 7 day prophetic picture.
Temple at the Center of Time pg 117
“There is far more significance to this story. It is a lesson of the divine proportion.
Joshua 6:3 says, ‘You shall compass the city…and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.’
The six-fold compassing of Jericho yields and exquisite yet simple equation, and its intrinsic meaning fits the astronomical works and theories of Issac Newton.
‘Jericho,’ literally translated, means the moon (or Moon city), and is a homonym of the Hebrew word for ‘thrown down place.’
The Ark made six circles of 360 degrees around Jericho totaling 2,160 degrees….In circumscribing 2,160 degrees of Jericho with the Ark, the Israelites marked the diameter of the moon in modern statute miles. The circumference (the distance around the moon) is found by multiplying 2,160 by the number 3.14159265. This number is symbolized by the Greek letter π. 3.14159265 x 2,160 = 6,785.8401 miles.”
On the 7th day, Yisrael encompassed Jericho 7 times. 7 x 360 = 2,520. Using 2,520 and multiplying it by π, we get the diameter of the earth.
2,520 x 3.14159265 = 7,916.813 statute miles.
The Measurement of the Earth
Gematria is from the Greek word for Geometry.
http://www.yarahministries.org/pdf/World3168.pdf
Psa 19:1 To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens are recounting the glory of God, and the expanse proclaiming His handiwork.
Psa 19:2 Day by day they pour forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.
Psa 19:3 There is no speech, nor are there words where their voice is not heard.
Psa 19:4 Their measuring line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world; in them He has set up a dwelling-place for the sun,
The word translated as “line” in verse 4 is the Hebrew word “KAV” and means a cord (as connecting), especially for measuring; figuratively a RULE; In Job 38:4-6 it is written: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; The Hebrew word translated “measures” in verse 5 is “May-mad”, it means measure, but it comes from the root word “Maw-dad” which means properly to stretch; by implication to measure (as if by stretching a line); figuratively to be extended:—measure, mete, stretch self.
Lets look at some measurements for our earth
Our Earth has a mean diameter of 7920 miles
Interestingly, the word mediator links to the pi-mesons mentioned above. Pi-mesons means ‘the middle/intermediate mass’ in between the protons and electrons of the atom.
What other verses = 3168?
Isa 53:11 He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge the righteous One, My Servant, shall justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.
The Earth, as stated above, has a mean diameter of 7,920 miles. The Earth is surrounded by an oxygen rich atmosphere that extends in three layers, to a distance of 50 miles above the Earth. The crust of the Earth is an average of 10 miles thick. Below that is molten lava. Man’s world is limited to the crust and atmosphere surrounding it. The total of the Earth’s crust (10 miles) and the Earth’s atmosphere (50 miles) totals 60 miles.
The Earth’s elliptical orbit around the sun is given in Webster’s new world dictionary is 595 million miles. If we were to lay that 595 million miles out in a straight line, and then determine the time it would take for light to traverse it’s entire length, we would take the 595 million miles and divide it by the speed of light, 186,000 miles per second, divide the answer by 60 to get the minutes and then divide again by 60 to get the hours. Let’s look. Again, dropping all zero’s 595 million divided by the speed of light 186 = 3198924.7 seconds 3198924.7 seconds divided by 60 = 53315.4 minutes 53315.4 minutes divided by 60 = 888 hours 888 is the numerical value of Jesus, who said: I Am the light of the world: John 8:12
If we were to add together the mean distances from the sun, to all nine planets of our solar system to form a gigantic circle, the total given in the encyclopedia Britannica would be 9,954 (dropping all zero’s. If we divide this total by pi, which is 3.1416, and round off the answer to whole numbers, the answer is (dropping the fraction behind the decimal point) 3168 Again, Lord Jesus Christ.
Psa 108:5 Be lifted up, O God, above the heavens; and Your glory above (על – upon) all the earth;

As seen above, the word for measure ‘mad’ has the same meaning has ‘dividing/separating’ the waters and is connected to the Tabernacle.
Time is related to this word:
The Biblical Calendar is based upon the sun, moon and stars (Genesis 1:14) Where are these heavenly bodies? In the firmament/expanse.
Time is cyclical, or in a spiral, which is seen when tracing back the Hebrew words that deal with time (Genesis 1:15).
Measuring of the Heavens is connected with time.

BDB Definition:
1) span
1a) a unit of measure, approx half-cubit, or the distance from the thumb to the little finger on an outstretched hand
The Breastplate of the High priest was measured with a ‘zereth’/span.
Exo 28:16 It shall be square, being doubled, its length a span and its width a span.
Isa 48:13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.

The hand has been used for thousands of years to measure degrees in the heavens/expanse. Each person’s hand will measure the same distances when the arm is stretched out, no matter how large your hand, or what your age.
You can tell how long until the sun will set by measuring its distance from the horizon. The sun moves about 15 degrees across the sky in an hour. Moving 15 degrees an hour for 24 hours would equal 360 degrees, or a full day from sunset to sunset. This measuring of the hours points us to Messiah.
Joh 11:9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble because he sees the light of the world.

This will be discussed in more detail in the future, Yah willing. The fall of Babylon and Belshazzar’s demise is related to the fall of Jericho where Yisrael was commanded to go around it’s wall’s in a specific way related to this 7 day prophetic picture.
