There are different aspects to the promise to Abraham, all of which can be used to display different aspects of the Gospel and shadow pictures of Messiahclick here.
He was promised a Seed (Genesis 15:4). This Seed is referring to Messiah (Galatians 3:17) and is also described as the Word (Luke 8:11). This aspect of the promise to Abraham will be used to share Shadow Pictures of Messiah in Life. YHWH is the source of all life
What is life?
Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Through looking at the Biblical definition of Life, we see that YHWH=Jesus=the Word=The Torah=the Holy Spirit. Through the study of biologyclick here {life}, man is led to the knowledge of the Most High. Through the study of natural lifeclick here, one is led to the source of that life and the ultimate definition of the word.
All life comes forth from YHWH (Numbers 16:22; 27:16; Ecclesiastes 12:7; Job 12:10) through Messiah (John 1:4, 9).
YHWH IS OUR LIFE
Deu 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
THE WORD/TORAH OF LIFE
1Jn 1:1 What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we beheld, and what our hands touched, as regards the Word of Life.
1Jn 1:2 And the Life was revealed, and we have seen, and we bear witness, and we announce to you the everlasting Life which was with the Father, and was revealed to us.
Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Deu 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
Deu 30:16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
