Daily Tidbits 9/11/26 – The Presidents Code – 9/11

In the Presidents code, the invasion of the land of Israel by Antiochus Epiphanes corresponds with the attacks of September 11th, 2001. In the code, the terrorist attacks during the Clinton and Bush administration line up with various foreign invasions of the land of Israel.

The Presidents Code is a parable based upon the name meanings of the U.S. Presidents. Their name meanings tell the story of the Biblical text, from the beginning of creation unto the days of Christ. Based upon the premise of this code, it is seen that the very characters of the Presidents, from their personal characters to the events that occurred during their Presidencies reveal in parable form the exact same events of the Biblical narrative of which their name meanings describe. In other words, the history of the United States is displaying a giant parable of the Word of God.

In 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed which portrays the invasion of Assyria and the exile which ensued (2 Kings 15:29). In 1995, the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City occurred which lines up with the destruction of the Temple and the exile by Nebuchadnezzar (2 Kings 24:16).

The invasion by Antiochus led to the rise of the Maccabees who led a great revival amongst the people of God, leading them back to obedience to His laws. As a result, Israel would not be invaded again until the end of the 1st Century after the time period in which the New Testament was written.

In the Presidents Code, the Presidency of George W. Bush displayed the time period of the second Temple unto the days of John the Baptist.

In the “code,” the second term of Bill Clinton depicted the return of Israel to the Promised land after their exile in Babylon. It was at this time that the second Temple was built. The leaders of Israel rightly understood that their exile was caused as a result of their rebellion against the Law of God. As a result, they purposed to return to walking in His laws (Ezra 9:7-14; Nehemiah 9:26-38; 13:18; Zechariah 1:4-6). Later, the leaders of the nation set up ‘fences’ around the law to protect the people from going into exile again. These fences were the foundation of the ‘oral law’ or the ‘traditions of the elders’ which are spoken of in the New Testament (Matthew 15:2; Mark 7:8; 1 Peter 1:18; Galatians 1:14) which led to the message and movement of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ.

This was a time in which scribes and rabbis rose to prominence in the nation who were to teach Israel the law of God (Ezra 7:25; Nehemiah 8:7-8). This focus on religious education is seen in the Presidency of George W. Bush as the No Child Left Behind Act was passed. The No Child Left Behind Act was passed in 2001 which expanded the role of the Federal Government in education. This parallels the ‘education’ system of Israel during the days of the Second Temple. The role of parents as educators was diminished in deference to scribes and rabbis. As a result, the religion of Judaism was formed.

These were times of relative peace until the rise of Antiochus Epiphanes (2 Maccabees 3:1). This points to the end of the Clinton Presidency which was a time of relative peace in the United States. Antiochus Epiphanes rose to power in the 2nd century BC following a period in which Israel began to mix their ways with that of the heathen around them (1 Maccabees 1:11-15). This led to punishment in the past (2 Kings 3:3; 10:29, 31; 13:2, 6, 11; 15:9; 17:22-23) and it would lead to punishment yet again when Antiochus invaded the land of Israel and desecrated the Temple (1 Maccabees 1:20-64).

This rise of the Maccabees is displayed by the War on Terror and the declaration of George Bush that this battle was between good and evil.

“Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.” {Address to a Joint Session of Congress 9/21/2001}

George Bush proclaimed that the attacks of Al-Qaeda were in fact attacks upon America’s belief in the unalienable rights given by the Creator which points to the law of God.

“The attack on our Nation was also an attack on the ideals that make us a nation. Our deepest national conviction is that every life is precious, because every life is the gift of a Creator who intended us to live in liberty and equality.” {September 11th 2002 – Address to America}

These declarations are reminiscent of the words of Mattathias who slew the servant of Antiochus who was attempting to have Israel leave their religion and worship at a false altar. Mattathias proclaimed that those who were zealous for the law of God were to follow him. This is paralleled in George Bush’s comments that those who were zealous for freedom, were to follow him and America.

1 Maccabees 2:27 And Mattathias cried throughout the city with a loud voice, saying, Whosoever is zealous of the law, and maintaineth the covenant, let him follow me.

This declaration began the movement of the Maccabees who returned Israel to zealousness for the law of God (1 Maccabees 2:48). This restoration led to Israel regaining dominion over the land of Canaan. Three years from the date that Antiochus defiled the Temple, the Maccabees regained control over the land and restored the Temple (2 Maccabees 10:5). This re-dedication of the Temple was then celebrated thereafter under the name of Hanukkah (2 Maccabees 1:9, 18). The restoration and re-dedication of the Temple corresponds with George W. Bush’s involvement in the Road Map for Peace. In the “code,” peace agreements between Israel and her neighbors are parables which depict the building and restorations of the Temple of God, as seen in the Presidencies of Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

For the sake of clarity, let us review these peace agreements and their Biblical counterparts. The Camp David Peace Accords which Jimmy Carter instrumented were a picture of the designs of the Temple which David gave his son, Solomon (1 Chronicles 28:11-12, 19). George H.W. Bush took part in the Madrid Peace Conference which depicted the building of the Temple by Solomon (2 Samuel 7:13; 1 Kings 5:5). Bill Clinton took part in multiple peace talks depicting the restorations of Solomon’s Temple and the building of the second Temple during the days of Ezra (2 Kings 12:5, 12; 2 Kings 22:5; Ezra 3:10; 6:15). This leads up to the Road Map to Peace of which George W. Bush took part in, picturing the restoration of the Temple after the defilement of Antiochus Epiphanes (1 Maccabees 4:54).

In 2007, George W. Bush met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert at the Annapolis Conference to discuss a ‘two-state solution’ in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. These peace talks line up with the ‘upgrade’ of the Temple done by Herod, which caused the second Temple to be known as ‘Herod’s Temple’ thereafter (John 2:20). This is interesting to note as the first Temple was known as Solomon’s Temple which is depicted in the Presidency of George H.W. Bush. So we see Solomon’s Temple linked to Bush 41 and the Herod’s Temple linked with Bush 43. This is interesting to note as the name Bush brings forth the meaning of something “hidden.” In the Scriptures, the Temple of God was known as His “secret place” (Ezekiel 7:22).

These connections are further strengthened through the Hanukkah celebration as it was a ‘replay’ of the Biblical Feast of Tabernacles (2 Maccabees 1:9, 18; 10:5-7) which is also known as the festival of dedication as the first Temple was dedicated during this feast in Solomon’s days (1 Kings 8:2, 63-65).

Further connecting the War on Terror with the wars of the Maccabees is the concept of fighting for justice. In an address to Congress, President Bush declared that those responsible for the terrorist attacks of 911 would be brought to justice.

“Tonight we are a country awakened to danger and called to defend freedom. Our grief has turned to anger, and anger to resolution. Whether we bring our enemies to justice, or bring justice to our enemies, justice will be done.” {Address to a Joint Session of Congress and the American People 9/20/2001}

So too, the cause of the Maccabees was declared to be that of justice.

1 Maccabees 2:27 And Mattathias cried throughout the city with a loud voice, saying, Whosoever is zealous of the law, and maintaineth the covenant, let him follow me.

1 Maccabees 2:28 So he and his sons fled into the mountains, and left all that ever they had in the city.

1 Maccabees 2:29 Then many that sought after justice and judgment went down into the wilderness, to dwell there:

Continuing in his address to the nation, Bush defined what the goals of Al-Qaeda were.

“Al Qaeda is to terror what the mafia is to crime. But its goal is not making money; its goal is remaking the world — and imposing its radical beliefs on people everywhere.”

This corresponds with the goals of Antiochus Ephiphanes who sought to impose his beliefs upon the entire world.

1 Maccabees 1:41 Moreover king Antiochus wrote to his whole kingdom, that all should be one people,

1 Maccabees1:42 And every one should leave his laws: so all the heathen agreed according to the commandment of the king.

Bush continued in his speech speaking of America’s courage and the declaration that we will not fail which corresponds to the speech which Mattathias gave his sons before his death (1 Maccabees 2:49-51).

“Great harm has been done to us. We have suffered great loss. And in our grief and anger we have found our mission and our moment. Freedom and fear are at war. The advance of human freedom — the great achievement of our time, and the great hope of every time — now depends on us. Our nation — this generation — will lift a dark threat of violence from our people and our future. We will rally the world to this cause by our efforts, by our courage. We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.” {Address to a Joint Session of Congress and the American People 9/20/2001}

1 Maccabees 2:49 Now when the time drew near that Mattathias should die, he said unto his sons, Now hath pride and rebuke gotten strength, and the time of destruction, and the wrath of indignation:

1 Maccabees 2:50 Now therefore, my sons, be ye zealous for the law, and give your lives for the covenant of your fathers.

1 Maccabees 2:61 And thus consider ye throughout all ages, that none that put their trust in him shall be overcome.

In this declaration of war, Bush proclaimed America’s reliance upon God for the victory.

“I will not forget this wound to our country or those who inflicted it. I will not yield; I will not rest; I will not relent in waging this struggle for freedom and security for the American people.

The course of this conflict is not known, yet its outcome is certain. Freedom and fear, justice and cruelty, have always been at war, and we know that God is not neutral between them.

Fellow citizens, we’ll meet violence with patient justice — assured of the rightness of our cause, and confident of the victories to come. In all that lies before us, may God grant us wisdom, and may He watch over the United States of America.”

George W. Bush’s final remarks in his address to the nation are reminiscent of the words of Judas Maccabees.

1 Maccabees 3:19 For the victory of battle standeth not in the multitude of an host; but strength cometh from heaven.

1 Maccabees3:20 They come against us in much pride and iniquity to destroy us, and our wives and children, and to spoil us:

1 Maccabees 3:21 But we fight for our lives and our laws.

1 Maccabees 3:22 Wherefore the Lord himself will overthrow them before our face: and as for you, be ye not afraid of them.

The victories of the Maccabees over the Greek empire established the Hasmonean dynasty over the land for nearly 100 years where Israel ruled independently similarly to the days of Solomon. Solomon’s time period is displayed in the “code” by George Bush Sr.

Around 63 BC, Rome captured Jerusalem and in 37 BC Marc Antony set up Herod as king. This ended the Hasmonean dynasty and established the Herodian era which is seen in the New Testament writings.

The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have interesting parallels to the days of the Maccabees and the Herodian kings that would follow.

Afghanistan means the land of the Afghans who obtained their name from a legendary ancestor known as ‘Afghana’ who was said to be the grandson of King Saul. Here we see a link to the establishment of Hasmonean ‘kings’ after the Maccabees regained control over the Promised Land for Israel. This position of king would later be taken over by the Herodians who would reign through the days of Messiah.

Iraq is the Arabic name for the region known as Mesopotamia. Mesopotamia literally means ‘country between two rivers’ speaking of the Tigris and Euphrates. This points to the division of Israel during the days of the Hasmonean dynasty between the Pharisees and the Sadducees. This division allowed Herod to rise to power.

The justification for the Iraq war was based upon lies. This deception was instrumental in George Bush’s fall from being the most popular President in history to one of the least popular. This is significant as Herod was set up as King of the Jews but in reality was an Edomite. A false king. Herod knew well of his illegitimacy which is why he attempted to kill Jesus when He was born as He was the true King of Israel (Matthew 2:1-18).

Amazingly, the terrorist attacks of 911 are depicted in veiled form in a prophecy from Isaiah which is speaking of a time in which Israel is full of sinners and hypocrites (Isaiah 33:14) as was seen in the days of the Maccabees when the Hellenist movement came to power.

Isaiah 33:18 Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

The ‘scribe’ in the context of Isaiah 33 is speaking of those who count or number the persons in an army (2 Kings 25:19). This links to the attacks upon the Pentagon, the symbol of the U.S. military which corresponds to the great army of Antiochus Epiphanes which was raised up to go to war against Ptolemy and afterwards came into Israel to defile the Temple and subdue the people (Daniel 11:25; 1 Maccabees 1:17-24).

The ‘receiver’ is speaking of foreigners who collect taxes. This was seen when Antiochus Epiphanes took control of the land of Israel and put the people under tribute (Daniel 11:20; 1 Maccabees 1:29). This economic aspect of Isaiah’s prophecy points to the twin towers which were a symbol of America’s economy.

After the attacks of 911, Bush declared to the world that you are either for us or for the terrorists.

“Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists. From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support terrorism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile regime.” {Address to a Joint Session of Congress and the American People 9/20/2001}

Here, in Bush’s proclamation, we see the dividing wall set up. From here Bush declared a War on Terror which was based upon protecting Americans by strengthening security at home and spreading Democracy and freedom to the rest of the world. However, this would not be done by being a shining example of a city on a hill as was the vision of the Founders, but by the use of force and encouraging revolutions in countries which were deemed as tyrannical. Furthermore, numerous unconstitutional laws were passed as a result of this War on Terror. They were justified as a means to protect the nation. The problem with this is that Benjamin Franklin rightly stated:

“They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Israel had corrupted the true intent of the Word by their traditions (Matthew 15:1-6). These traditions were set up as a means of security, preventing Israel from going astray and consequently going back into exile.

The time of Ezra and Nehemiah was a time in which Israel rededicated itself to God and sought to walk in His law (Ezra 3; Nehemiah 8; 9:38; 10:29). It was this zealousness for the law which gave rise to the ‘traditions of the elders’ which were rules set up as ‘fences’ to keep the people from breaking the law of God. Israel rightly saw that their punishment of exile from God came as a result of their rejection of His Word so they sought to establish a code of conduct amongst the people which would prevent this from happening again (Ezra 9:7-14; Nehemiah 9:26-38; 13:18; Zechariah 1:4-6). However these ‘traditions of the elders’ over time became the focus of Israel and took their eyes off of the law of God on which they were based (Matthew 15:2-9; Mark 7:3-13).

So too, the Bush administration set up laws like the Patriot Act and authorized domestic spying which violated the Bill of Rights, in the name of security.

Freedom is a gift from the Creator, an unalienable right which man must believe in before he can walk therein. Man cannot be forced to believe in the Creator and therefore he cannot be forced to believe in the rights which He has given. This must come from an inward conviction. So too, the letter of the law which the Jews were following during the Second Temple period can never change the heart of man. It is only the Spirit of the Law which is brought forth by faith in the Creator and repentance towards Him (2 Corinthians 3:6; John 6:63) that can change the heart (Deuteronomy 4:30; 30:1-3; Jeremiah 24:7; 31:33; Hebrews 8:10; 10:16; Ezekiel 11:19-20; 36:26-27; Psalm 119:32; Isaiah 51:7; Romans 2:15, 26-29; 8:4).
