Daily Tidbits 3/3 – The Greater Exodus

The prophets declare that the end of days will see a Greater Exodus — far surpassing the deliverance from Egypt. This is when the LORD Himself will regather the remnant of Israel and Judah with a mighty hand and outstretched arm from the land of the north and all the countries where they have been scattered.

Not by the hand of man (UN, Rothschilds, or political Zionism), but by the power of the Lord alone. The 1948 “regathering” was a counterfeit. The true exodus occurs as the Assyrian (Antichrist) rises and the woman flees into the wilderness (Revelation 12), where she is nourished and protected under the cloud of Glory.

Just as in the days of old, God will lead His flock, speak comfort to their hearts, betroth them forever in righteousness, and bring them into the bond of the covenant. The nations will see and be ashamed. Sins will be cast into the depths of the sea. And they will no longer say, “As the LORD lives who brought Israel out of Egypt,” but “As the LORD lives who brought up the seed of Israel from the land of the north.”

The prophets speak of the end of days as a replay of the Egyptian exodus, but even greater.  This exodus will occur during the days that the Assyrian comes to power and the woman flees to the wilderness (Revelation 12:14).  Contrary to popular theology, the greater exodus has not occurred.  The ‘regathering’ of 1948 was/is a counterfeit.

The Egyptian exodus was a foreshadow of the great exodus of the end.

Mic 7:14  Feed Your people with Your rod, the flock of Your possession, dwelling alone in the thicket, amidst Carmel. Let them pasture in Bashan and Gilead, as in days of old.
Mic 7:15  As the days of your coming out from the land of Egypt, I will cause him to see extraordinary things.
Mic 7:16  The nations shall see and be ashamed from all their might. They shall set the hand on their mouth; their ears shall be deaf.
Mic 7:17  They shall lick the dust like a snake; they shall tremble out of their holes like crawlers of the earth; they shall dread Jehovah our God; they shall fear from You.
Mic 7:18  Who is a God like You, forgiving iniquity and passing by the transgression of the remnant of His possession? He does not make strong His anger forever, for He delights in grace.
Mic 7:19  He will return to pity us; He will subdue our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Mic 7:20  You will give faithfulness to Jacob, kindness to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

Jer 16:14  So, behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that it shall no more be said, As Jehovah lives who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
Jer 16:15  But rather, As Jehovah lives who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands, there where He had driven them. And I will bring them again into their land that I gave to their fathers.
Jer 16:16  Behold, I will send for many fishermen, says Jehovah. And they shall fish them. And after this I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them, from every mountain and from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks.
Jer 16:17  For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face; their iniquity is not hidden from My eyes.
Jer 16:18  And first I will repay double their iniquity and their sin, because they have defiled My land with the bodies of their hateful things. Yea, their hateful idols have filled My inheritance.
Jer 16:19  O Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, Our fathers have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them.
Jer 16:20  Can a man make gods to himself? But they are not gods!
Jer 16:21  And, behold, I will make them know; this time I will cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My name is Jehovah.

Jer 23:1  Woe to shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture, says Jehovah.
Jer 23:2  Because of this, so says Jehovah the God of Israel against the shepherds who shepherd My people: You have scattered My flock, and have driven them away, and have not visited them. Behold, I will visit on you the evil of your doings, says Jehovah.
Jer 23:3  And I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the lands where I have driven them there, and I will bring them again to their fold. And they shall be fruitful and multiply.
Jer 23:4  And I will raise up shepherds over them who will shepherd them. And they will fear no more, nor be terrified; nor will they be missing anything, says Jehovah.
Jer 23:5  Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and act wisely, and He shall do justice and righteousness in the earth.
Jer 23:6  In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His name by which He shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.

Notice that it is God that regathers His people, not the U.N. or the Rothschilds.
Jer 23:7  Behold, so the days come, says Jehovah, that they shall no more say, As Jehovah lives who brought the sons of Israel up out of the land of Egypt;
Jer 23:8  but, As Jehovah lives who brought up and led the seed of the house of Israel out of the land of the north, and from all the lands where I have driven them there. And they shall dwell on their own land.
Jer 23:9  My heart within me is broken concerning the prophets; all my bones shake. I am like a drunken man, and like a man overcome by wine, because of Jehovah, and because of the Words of His holiness.
Jer 23:10  For the land is full of adulterers. For the land mourns because of a curse. The pastures of the wilderness are dried up. And their course is evil, and their might is not right.
Jer 23:11  For both prophet and priest are ungodly; yea, I have found their evil in My house, says Jehovah.
Jer 23:12  So their way shall be to them as slippery places in the darkness; they shall be driven out and fall by it. For I will bring evil on them, the year of their judgment, says Jehovah.
Jer 23:13  And I have seen frivolity among the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal and led astray My people Israel.
Jer 23:14  I have also seen a horrible thing among the prophets of Jerusalem; they commit adultery and walk in falsehood. And they make the hands of evildoers strong, so that not a man returns from his evil. They are all of them like Sodom to Me, and those living in her like Gomorrah.
Jer 23:15  So Jehovah of Hosts says this concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them wormwood, and make them drink poisonous water, for ungodliness has gone forth from the prophets of Jerusalem into all the land.
Jer 23:16  So says Jehovah of Hosts, Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you; they make you vain; they speak a vision of their own heart, not out of the mouth of Jehovah.
Jer 23:17  They say to those who despise Me, Jehovah has said, You shall have peace. And they say to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, Evil shall not come on you.
Jer 23:18  For who has stood in the counsel of Jehovah, and has seen and heard His Word? Who has listened to His Word and heard?
Jer 23:19  Behold, the tempest of Jehovah has gone forth in fury, even a whirling tempest. It will whirl on the head of the wicked.
Jer 23:20  The anger of Jehovah shall not turn back until He has executed, and until He has set up the purposes of His heart. In latter days you shall understand it perfectly.
Jer 33:7  And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
Jer 33:8  And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity which they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities which they have sinned against Me, and which they have rebelled against Me.
Jer 33:9  And it shall be a name of joy to Me, a praise and a glory to all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do for them. And they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the peace that I do for it.
Jer 33:10  So says Jehovah, Again there shall be heard in this place, which you say shall be waste without man and without beast, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate without man, without one living in it, and without beast,
Jer 33:11  the voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of those saying, Praise Jehovah of Hosts, for Jehovah is good, for His mercy endures forever; those who shall bring the sacrifice of thanksgiving into the house of Jehovah. For I will bring back the captivity of the land, as at the first, says Jehovah.
Jer 33:12  So says Jehovah of Hosts, Again in this place which is a waste without man or even beast, and in all its cities shall be a home of shepherds causing flocks to lie down.
Jer 33:13  In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the Negeb, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, the flocks shall pass again under the hands of him who tallies, says Jehovah.
Jer 33:14  Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will fulfill the good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
Jer 33:15  In those days, and at that time, I will cause a Branch of Righteousness to grow up to David. And He shall do judgment and righteousness in the land.
Jer 33:16  In those days Judah shall be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell in safety. And this is the name that shall be called on her: JEHOVAH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Jer 33:17  For so says Jehovah, Not a man sitting on the throne of the house of Israel will be cut off to David.
Jer 33:18  And for the Levitical priests, they shall not have a man cut off before Me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle food offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
Jer 33:19  And the Word of Jehovah was to Jeremiah, saying,
Jer 33:20  So says Jehovah, If you can break My covenant of the day, and My covenant of the night, and there should not be day and night in their time,
Jer 33:21  then My covenant with My servant David may also be broken, that he should not have a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levitical priests, My ministers.
Jer 33:22  As the host of the heavens cannot be numbered, nor the sand of the sea measured, so I will multiply the seed of My servant David, and the Levites who minister to Me.
Jer 33:23  And the Word of Jehovah was to Jeremiah, saying,
Jer 33:24  Have you not observed what these people have spoken, saying, The two families that Jehovah has chosen, He has also rejected them? And they despise My people, no more to be a nation before them.
Jer 33:25  So says Jehovah, If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of the heavens and earth,
Jer 33:26  then I also will reject the seed of Jacob, and My servant David, not to take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will bring back their captivity and have pity on them.

Notice by the above prophecies of Jeremiah that it is the LORD who returns Israel from their captivity.  There is no hint or indication that it is to be done by the power of man.

Point by point the exodus from Egypt foreshadows the greater exodus and regathering of the end.  The wilderness, the plagues, the cloud of Glory etc.  Following are a few examples.
