Shadows of Messiah – The Pearl

Shadows of Messiah - Pearl

The Hebrew word for ‘word’ is דבר ‘davar’ which means order and arrangement as in the arrangement of letters to form words.  דבר ‘davar’ comes from the root דר which means a ‘circle.’  Amazingly, when man speaks the sound that comes forth is in the shape of a circle or ‘pearl.’

The studies of John Stuart Reid reveal that the shape of sound coming from our mouths when we speak is likened unto a ‘pearl.’

Sound that comes from our mouths is like unto a PEARL.

Mat 7:6  Do not give that which is holy to the dogs, nor throw your pearls before the pigs, that they should not trample them with their feet, and turning they charge you.
The word for pearl in the above verse comes from the following Greek word.

G3135
μαργαρίτης
margaritēs
Thayer Definition:
1) a pearl
2) a proverb, i.e. a word of great value
Part of Speech: noun masculine
A Related Word by Thayer’s/Strong’s Number: from margaros (a pearl-oyster)

The Greek word μαργαρίτης ‘margarites,’ meaning a pearl, corresponds to the Hebrew word גרעין ‘gariyn’ which means grain, or a seed.

Luk 8:11  And this is the parable: The seed is the Word of God.
The Pearl further connects to the Word in that the word translated as pearl in Ester 1:6 is the Hebrew word דר ‘dar’ which as mentioned above is the root of the word דבר ‘davar’ which means ‘word’ in Hebrew.  Breaking down the word דבר ‘davar’ brings forth a deeper meaning which further displays the pearl-word connection.  The outside letters דר ‘dar’ have the meaning of a pearl. The inside letter ב ‘bet’ means a house or body.  דבר  ‘davar’ then can mean the “pearls that come forth from the house”…this is exactly what our words are.

Further connecting the pearl/circle {דר ‘dar’} is the camp of Israel in the wilderness.  The word דר ‘dar’ also means a generation as in the “circle of a family”.  In ancient times a family camp was in the form of a circle as in the camp of Israel in the wilderness.  The family of Israel is linked to the pearl in the book of Revelation as there are 12 gates named after Israel made of pearl in the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:14-21).

Another connection to our words being circular in nature is the Hebrew word for mouth, from whence our words come.  The Hebrew word for mouth is  פה ‘peh’ and is depicted in the Hebrew Aleph-Bet by by the letter of the same name and meaning.

As seen in the above picture, the Greek letter Π ‘pi’ comes from this Hebrew letter.  In Math, Π ‘pi’ {3.14} is the formula for measuring the circumference of a circle.  It is approximated by the fraction 22/7.  This is fascinating as the Hebrew Aleph-Bet consists of 22 letters and is the source of the Word of God which is divided into 7 parts.

Bible Wheel

“The 66 books of the Bible are spiraled into 3 cycles, encompassed by the 22 Hebrew letters, which then beautifully manifests the 7  divisions of the Biblical Canon”.

“The Bible Wheel is a circular presentation of the Bible that I discovered by rolling up the traditional list of the sixty-six books like a scroll on a spindle wheel of twenty-two spokes, corresponding to the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The order of the Hebrew alphabet is established in the alphabetically structured passages of the Old Testament, most notably Psalm 119 that praises God’s Word from Aleph to Tav, from beginning to end. This exemplifies how everything in the Bible Wheel is derived from Scripture and Scripture alone.” {Richard McGough}

Exo 25:33  three almond like calyxes on the one branch with knob and blossom; and three almond like calyxes on the one branch with knob and blossom, so for the six branches, those going out from the lampstand.

3×6+4=22…corresponding to the 22 Hebrew letters.

Each side branch has three sets of three items – three bowls, each with a “knop” and a “flower.” The central branch has four sets of the same three items. Thus, the numerical arrangement of these decorations follow a symmetric pattern on the seven branches:
9 + 9 + 9 + 12 + 9 + 9 + 9

The number of these “decorations” sums to 66, the number of books in the Bible. Furthermore, the sum subdivides into the sum of the first four (9 + 9 + 9 + 9 + 12 = 39) and the last three (9 + 9 + 9 = 27) to give the number of books in the Old and New Testaments. Putting it all together, we see that the Bible and the Menorah have a large set of structural numbers in common:

  • 7 Branches [Canonical Divisions] symmetrically displayed
  • 3 Branches [Canonical Divisions] are paired, with one set apart.
  • 22 Bowls [Hebrew Letters]
  • 66 Decorations [Books] that subdivide into groups of 39 and 27

It is also interesting to note that the Hebrew language consists of 7 verb forms.  The Hebrew language is a verb based language so it could be said the 22 letters of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet are divided into “sevens” which further displays the 22/7 pi fraction.

Etymologists have found that human speech consists of 7 sounds.

All words come forth from 7 sounds. Vowels (breath), bilabials (lips), gutturals (throat), dentals (teeth), liquids (tongue), nasals (nose) and fricatives (whistling sounds).

Further linking our speech with the number 7/menorah is the solfeggio scale.

The Menorah and the Solfeggio Scale

Identity – You are the Tabernacle of God by John Saba pg 54

Day 1 of creation corresponds to day 4.  Day 2 corresponds to day 5.  Day 3 corresponds to day 6.  The Light of the 1st day connects with the light of the sun on day 4.  The fish in the 5th day and the water of the 2nd day connect.  Man in the 6th day connects with the earth/dust from whence he came.  Using this pattern Mr. Saba found that the menorah shows the original Solfeggio scale.

Left to right
174, 285, 396

Right to left
417, 528, 639

Bottom to right to left

741, 852, 963

1: Ut=396=9
2. Re=417=3
3. Mi=528=6
4. Fa=639=9
5. Sol=741=3
6. La=852=6

By following the above, 174, 285, 396 etc, a spiral movement is seen.  Here we see a connection, via the Menorah, between light and sound.  The 7 branches of the Menorah correspond to the 7 notes in the musical scale and the 7 colors in the color spectrum and the 7 wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum.
