The Presidents Code – Speaker of the House Jonathan Dayton (continued)
In the 1796 election, the Federalists regained control of the House of Representatives which allowed Jonathan Dayton to remain as Speaker of the House. Dayton was elected as Speaker at the end of Washington’s Presidency.
As seen the previous article on Dayton, Dayton’s name is speaking of the Lord giving Adam the Garden of Eden, a land ‘flowing with milk and honey,’ a theme which connects Washington‘s name meaning to Adams. Dayton is the first example of a Speaker of the House whose term went from one President to another. In each of these cases, the name meaning of these men connect the name meanings of the two Presidents in which their term encompasses. I hope this will become more clear as this ‘code’ progresses, I mention it here as it is yet another fascinating display of the wisdom and Sovereign Hand of the Lord.
