The Presidents Code – Speaker of the House Andrew Stevenson (continued)
Andrew Stevenson began his term as Speaker during John Quincy Adams‘ administration. This is a link between the Adams and Jackson Presidencies and the portrayal of victory in the Seed of the woman. Stevenson’s name is displaying that the path of sinful man back to Paradise will come through the death and suffering of the Seed of the woman.
Andrew comes from the Greek word ανηρ ‘aner‘ which means man.
Stevenson means son of Steven which comes from the Greek name Στεφανος ‘Stephanos’ which means a crown. Here we see a picture of the Son of Man, who would be crowned with a crown of thorns (John 19:5) and pierced through with nails to bring the Grace of God to mankind (Romans 5:12-20). This depicts the Seed of the woman, whose heel is bruised, but crushes the head of the serpent and reestablishes dominion over the earth (Genesis 3:15).
Hebrews 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
