The Presidents Code – Sixth Party System
Based upon the Presidents ‘code’ it appears that America is due to have a major change in its politics. A new ‘era’ is due to come in the near future. As a matter of fact, the beginnings of this change are occurring today as can be seen by the rise of ‘outsider’ candidates rising to prominence in this election.
Different periods or eras in our nation’s political history have been divided up into what are called ‘Party Systems.’ In the Presidents Code, these Party Systems correspond with dispensations in the Biblical narrative.
For clarity, here is a quick summary. The First Party System of the Federalists and Democrat-Republicans displayed the time period of the Garden of Eden. This era was the time period of the Founders, Washington – Monroe.
The Second Party System of the Democrats and Whigs depicted the time period of Adam in exile through the days of Noah until the time of Abraham. This era came about during the “second generation” of Americans and was dominated by Andrew Jackson and his supporters.
The Third Party system began with the days of Abraham Lincoln and the formation of the Republican party which corresponds with the time period in Scripture of Abraham and the covenant between God and his seed. This was the time period of the Civil War and the Reconstruction of America after the war. This period parallels the lives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The Fourth Party System came about during the Presidencies of Grover Cleveland and William McKinley and lasted through the days of Herbert Hoover. This time period corresponded with the days of Joseph and Israel in the land of Egypt.
We are currently in the Fifth Party System which began during the days of Franklin Roosevelt and corresponds with the ‘dispensation’ of Moses, the Old Covenant and the giving of the Law. There have been a number of significant changes during this era, called ‘political re-alignments’ but the FDR style government has continued to this day.
The next ‘dispensation’ in the Scriptures was the time period of the Apostles and the New Covenant where the focus of God’s dealings with His people transitions from the Old Covenant, the Temple system and living in the Promised Land to the dispensation of the New Testament and the spreading of the Gospel to the four corners of the world.
Currently, we are seeing a transition in the political scene of America as well. A large majority of Americans are fed up with the politicians and the corruption seen in the two party system. Polls that have been run from 2010 to today speak of 60-80% of Americans wanting a different party to choose from. This corresponds with the time period of John the Baptist, Jesus Christ and His Apostles as they became the third major ‘party’ or sect in Israel.
In the “code,” the Pharisees correspond with the Democratic party of today and the Sadducees correspond with the Republican party. Historians even speak of Pharisees as the “Liberals” and Sadducees as the “Conservatives” of their time. As of yet, a major third party corresponding with the Apostles has not yet risen to power in the country but the ‘Liberty movement’ led by Ron Paul began pushing the nation in that direction. In the ‘code,’ Ron Paul portrays John the Baptist.
Initially, it appeared that the “Liberty movement” led by Ron Paul would be the catalyst in pushing this nation into a new era but the 2016 election has shown that this is not turning out to be the fullness of this move. The primary theme of the 2016 election has been about establishment candidates versus anti-establishment candidates with the support of anti-establishment candidates rising to an historical level.
The large crowds and the almost ‘messianic fervor’ which was seen for Barack Obama in 2008, and Ron Paul in 2012 are indicative of the state of the people in this country. This fervor has transitioned today to Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders. The people are desperate for change. They are tired of the corruption seen in their government. This was seen during the days of Messiah as well. The corruption of the religious leaders was seen by many in the nation so they flocked to John the Baptist (Matthew 3:5; Mark 1:5; Luke 3:7) and later to Jesus Christ (Matthew 4:25; 5:1; 8:1; 12:15; 15:30; 21:9; Luke 5:15; 14:25)..
This movement continued into the days of the Apostles recorded in the book of Acts where God’s dealings with His people began to change. The focus of believers would change from the Temple system and a desire to rule in the Promised land, to spreading the Gospel of salvation to all of mankind (Acts 1:6-8). This corresponds with the political change which is occurring in America.
This ‘dispensation’ which has been named the ‘Church Age’ by theologians would be paralleled in our days in a future Sixth Party System. It is too early to give a solid prediction but another ‘Party System’ is due to come to full fruition in the near future.
As mentioned before, the Sadducees were the ‘conservative’ party during the Second Temple period. They disappeared from the scene after the fall of the Temple, leaving only the Pharisees and a new ‘sect’ called Christians. Time will tell if this means the Republican party will end or be significantly changed or whether there will be a major third party arise but there certainly appears to be big changes in American politics in the years to come.
The Apostles brought great change to Israel and the ‘political’ scene of the time. After Jesus rose from the grave and the Apostles began preaching the Gospel, many of the Pharisees and Sadducees began following the Apostles (Acts 2:41-42, 46; 4:4; 5:14; 6:7) but they were not considered a different ‘sect,’ until later (Acts 11:26; 24:5; 28:22).
It is too early to predict how this will play out in the ‘code’ of American politics but it is becoming clear that the ‘anti-establishment’ movement of the 2016 election is significantly pushing America into a new era.
Through the Jews’ rejection of Christ (Matthew 21:42-44; Mark 12:10-11; Luke 20:16-19; Acts :11-12), Jesus said He would take their nation away from them and give them to another nation (Matthew 21:28-41; Mark 12:1-9; Luke 20:9-16). This was a transfer from the Pharisees and Sadducees to Christians. It was a transfer from the Old Covenant and Temple system to the New Covenant and the spreading of the Gospel to the world.
In the ‘code,’ Pharisees correspond with Democrats and Sadducees correspond to the Republicans. In history, after the fall of the Temple, the Pharisees continued and founded Rabbinic Judaism. The Sadducees disappeared from history after the fall of the Temple as they held the leadership of the priesthood.
In the code, the temples are displayed in the various attempts by American Presidents to broker peace agreements between Israel and the Palestinians. Will this new era mean America’s dealings with Israel and the Palestinians is going to change?
These temples are strongly linked to both Bush Presidencies. Will this change signal an end of the Bush dynasty in American politics?
In the New Covenant era, the physical temple was no longer the focus (John 4:21-24) as believers were now considered the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:9, 16; Ephesians 2:18-22; 1 Peter 2:5-9). Jesus is the cornerstone of this temple (Isaiah 28:16; 8:14-20; Psalm 118:22-23), which the Pharisees and Sadducees rejected. He was an offense to both houses (Isaiah 8:14-15) so we should expect to see a President or Presidents in the future who offend both Democrats and Republicans.
Believers from the Pharisees and from the Sadducees left their ‘parties’ to join the Christians while both sects persecuted Christians in the early years (Acts 5:33, 40; 8:1; 11:19). After the Temple was destroyed, Pharisees (Rabbinic Jews) greatly persecuted Christians and set up Christians to be even more greatly persecuted by Rome. It was not until the time period of Constantine that the Church escaped this great period of persecution.
In conjunction with the Liberty and ‘anti-establishment’ movements pushing the country in the direction of a ‘Sixth Party System’ is the discussion about the monetary system and the role of the Federal Reserve. These issues have been raised by Ron Paul and pushed by the ‘Liberty movement’ which has formed around him. In the summer of 2012, Ron Paul’s ‘Audit the Fed’ bill passed in the House of Representatives by a vote of 327-98 displaying the influence that the Liberty movement is making in the nation’s political scene.
In 2016, Ron Paul’s son Rand put forth an ‘Audit the Fed’ bill in the Senate but it was blocked. This is further seen in the leading ‘anti-establishment’ candidates in the 2016 election. Donald Trump has claimed that he will audit the Federal Reserve if elected President and Bernie Sanders has already introduced a bill in the Senate to bring forth transparency of the Federal Reserve.
Throughout history, changes in the Party Systems and ‘political realignments’ have been associated with changes in the monetary system of the United States.
Controversy over the First National Bank gave rise to the First Party System picturing the time period of the Garden of Eden. In the ‘code,’ the National Bank is strongly associated with the serpent and the tree of knowledge of good and evil which led to the exile of Adam out of the Garden.
The Second Party System formed as a result of Andrew Jackson and the controversy of the election of 1824 where Jackson won both the popular and electoral vote but did not have the majority needed to gain the Presidency. The decision on who would become President went to the House of Representatives where Henry Clay pushed for the election of John Quincy Adams. Clay was the ‘author’ of the ‘American System’ which included a National Bank of which Jackson adamantly opposed. The Democratic party formed around Andrew Jackson and the Whig party formed around Clay and Adams. This led to the Second Party System which pictured the days of Adam in exile from the Garden to the days of Abraham.
Andrew Jackson pictured the battle between the Seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. Jackson’s victory over the National Bank pictured in parable form, mankind’s victory over sin brought forth by the tree of knowledge through the Seed of the woman. It is interesting that opposition to the National Bank of our day, the Federal Reserve, is coming forth through Ron Paul and the Liberty movement as our days correspond to the time period of the days of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, the Seed of the woman.
The Third Party System arose as a result of the issue of slavery and the election of Abraham Lincoln. This gave rise to the Republican party which formed around Lincoln. It was during Lincoln’s Presidency that the first ‘fiat’ money, called ‘greenbacks,’ went into circulation. Later, Lincoln opposed the system of central banks of which he helped set up and proposed a return to the gold standard but was killed before he was able to advance any of these ideas.
The Third Party System saw numerous changes in the monetary system. In 1873, the Fourth Coinage Act was enacted by Congress embracing the gold standard and demonetizing silver, thus ending the system of bi-metalism set up by the Constitution. In 1878, the Bland-Allison Act was enacted which reintroduced bi-metalism in the country. In 1890, the Sherman Silver Purchase Act was passed which repealed the 1873 Coinage Act. This controversy over bi-metalism lasted from the days of Lincoln until the Presidency of Grover Cleveland when the Fourth Party System formed.
The Third Party System points to the time period of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Fourth Party system formed during Cleveland’s days pictured the time period of Jacob returning to Canaan after dwelling in Padan Aram. The Fourth Party system ‘officially’ began during the McKinley Presidency which pointed to the Biblical narrative transitioning to the life of Joseph.
The Fourth Party System, known as the Progressive Era, formed during the Presidency of Grover Cleveland. It is this era which saw the supporters of the gold standard overcome those who supported the bi-metalism instituted by the Constitution. Cleveland’s Presidencies point to the days of Jacob dwelling in the land of Canaan after coming out of Padan Aram. The defining aspects of Grover Cleveland’s second term as President were the Panic of 1893 where the stock market crashed and caused the worst economic depression in the country’s history until that time. This connects to the panic or fear that Jacob felt after Levi and Simeon slaughtered the people of Shechem (Genesis 34:30).
Cleveland believed that the Panic was caused due to the Sherman Silver Purchase Act of 1890 during Benjamin Harrison’s administration which saw the country’s currency backed by both silver and gold. Cleveland repealed the Sherman Silver Purchase Act which began the end of silver as a basis for American currency. This connects with the hiding of the idols under the oak by Shechem when Jacob went up to Bethel to meet with God (Genesis 35:1-4). The Hebrew word for ‘hid’ in Genesis 35:4 is טמן ‘taman’ which also means a treasure. Here we see the ‘treasures’ of Israel being put out of sight in connection with the ‘treasure’ of silver being ‘put out of sight’ in regards to coinage during Cleveland’s days.
Due to the Panic of 1893 and the suffering which the common man endured during the second term of Cleveland, he was not able to run again for President in 1896. Many blamed Cleveland for preventing the nation from recovering by placing the U.S. on a gold standard. William Jennings Bryan was the leader of this movement who said he would not allow mankind to be “crucified on a cross of gold”. This speech led Bryan to become the Democratic nominee in 1896. William McKinley would defeat Bryan for the Presidency however, establishing gold as the sole standard for U.S. Currency.
Bryan’s “Cross of Gold Speech” and his loss to McKinley brings forth an interesting parable as William McKinley’s Presidency represents Jacob’s desire for protection from the inhabitants of Canaan. After the slaughter of Shechem, Jacob told his children to cleanse their clothing and put away the strange gods from among them (Genesis 35:1). This was a portrayal of the end of silver currency. Following this, God puts His fear into the hearts of the inhabitants of the land, giving Jacob his desired protection. Jacob ‘put on’ the helmet of salvation, the ‘head’ of Israel who is Messiah (1Thessalonians 5:8; Genesis 48:16; 49:18; Ephesians 5:23; Colossians 1:18). It is during McKinley’s Presidency that the Biblical narrative turns to the life of Joseph, whose life is an incredible picture of the Messiah.
Silver plays an important part in the lives of both Joseph and Jesus as both were betrayed for silver. Joseph was sold into slavery for silver (Genesis 37:28) and later this would happen to Jesus as Judas betrayed Him for thirty pieces of silver (Matthew 26:15; Zechariah 11:12). Zechariah 11:13 says this was the ‘glorious price’ at which He was valued.
Historians speak of William McKinley‘s Presidency as the true beginning of the Fourth Party system, known as the Progressive Era. McKinley’s Presidency is a picture of the beginning of the life of Joseph who would become the main figure in the Biblical narrative until the days of Moses. This displays the Fourth Party system which was dominated by Republicans until the days of Franklin Delano Roosevelt whose Presidency speaks of the Pharaoh who ‘knew not Joseph.’ The Fifth Party system would then form around FDR.
Woodrow Wilson personified the ‘Progressive Era’ and brought forth a ‘New Freedom’ plan which saw the institution of the Federal Reserve and the beginning of a globalist mind set for America. It is because of the Federal Reserve system that Franklin Delano Roosevelt was able to set up the ‘New Deal.’
The formation of the Federal Reserve points to Joseph’s buying up of the land, property and people during his tenor in power which led to the unfortunate situation of the wicked Pharaoh spoken of in Exodus 1. This paved the way for Moses to be used by God to begin a new ‘era’ in the Bible.
Woodrow Wilson later lamented that he took part in the establishment of the Federal Reserve system.
“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”
Here we see a plan which was supposed to help the people of the country but due to corruption opened up the doors for more centralized government. This connects with the days of Joseph as well. Joseph’s decree to take a fifth of the grain of Egypt (Genesis 41:34) was designed to preserve life but brought the peoples into slavery to Pharaoh (Genesis 47:13-26) who would later turn into a murderous tyrant (Exodus 1:8-22).
Wilson’s Presidency also saw the Revenue Act of 1913 which was a continuation of the income tax instituted during William Howard Taft‘s Presidency. Taft’s Presidency saw the income tax placed on only the wealthier people of the country whereas Wilson’s Presidency brought the income tax upon everyone but the poorest of the land.
The income tax is a further connection to Joseph’s taking of the fifth of the grain of Egypt and the enslavement of the people to Pharaoh.
As mentioned previously, the Fifth Party system formed around Franklin Roosevelt’s ‘New Deal.’ The nation would now be divided between Liberals who supported the New Deal and Conservatives who opposed it. This points to the days of Moses. The time of Moses brings about a new era in the Bible of God’s dealing with man where His written Word was given and would be the guide for man’s life (Deuteronomy 32:47).
It was during FDR’s Presidency that the Bretton Woods system was set up which internationalized the monetary system in the United States. The Bretton Woods system brought forth an international exchange rate based upon the U.S. dollar and saw the formation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), today called the World Bank Group.
This move towards internationalism is linked to the days of Moses. Scripture speaks of the nations being divided according to the number of the children of Israel (Deuteronomy 32:8). This connection between the nations of the world and Israel is further seen in Exodus 15:23-27 where Israel dwelt at Elim amidst 12 palm trees and 70 wells of water. The palm trees point to the number of tribes of Israel and the wells correspond to the 70 nations mentioned in Genesis 10.
The Fifth Party System also saw the institution of the United Nations. The United Nations represents the gathering of all nations into one body. This points to Israel who is to rule all nations with a rod of iron. However, this will only truly come about during the days of the Messiah (Psalm 2:9; Revelation 2:26-27; 12:5). The United Nations then represents a false kingdom of ‘peace’ which in reality leads to slavery. This false kingdom is personified in the concept of the ‘new world order’ which was brought forth during the Presidency of Richard Nixon.
Nixon’s Presidency saw the end of the gold standard and the establishment of the fiat currency system which continues to this day. In 1971, President Richard Nixon unilaterally ordered the cancellation of the direct convertibility of the United States dollar to gold. This act was known as the Nixon Shock. Nixon’s Presidency pictured the days of Joshua and the conquering of the promised land unto the days of the Judges and the corruption of the people where they mixed the worship of the heathen with the worship of the true God.
It is said that there was a ‘political realignment’ during the days of Nixon as well where the idea of ‘New Federalism’ was brought forth which was to be a return to the days of Jefferson where the power of the Federal government would be transferred back to the States in accordance with the 10th Amendment to the Constitution.
Yet another ‘political realignment’ occurred during the Presidency of Ronald Reagan which saw ‘Reaganomics’ and a new era of Conservatism. Reagan’s Presidency pictures the days of King David and his conquering of the surrounding nations.
Some believe another ‘political realignment’ occurred during Bill Clinton’s Presidency and his ‘New Democrats’ movement. His presidency pictures the days of the kings of Israel and the prophets. As far as the economy goes, there was nothing of significance other than the balancing of the budget and Federal surplus during his presidency which had not occurred in many years.
Nixon’s system of fiat currency has continued until the current day. However, talk of the constitutionality of the Federal Reserve has become more mainstream as a result of the aforementioned movement which has formed around Ron Paul. The new party system which is forming is due in part to this movement which is primarily based upon a return to the gold standard, the end of the Federal Reserve and American emperialism. This new party system would be picturing the days of the Apostles and the transition of God’s dealings with His people.
It is interesting to note that the days of Israel dwelling in the promised land is linked to American Imperalism and the ideology of globalism. The days of the Apostles saw an end of Israel dwelling in the land and a transition in focus to the Gospel being preached to the nations.
Will the new political era of America see an end of globalism? Donald Trump has already spoken of a change in America’s dealings with the United Nations and NATO. Time will tell how this plays out.
This new era in American politics which corresponds with the Gospel dispensation should see numerous changes in our nation.
As mentioned before, there is a good probability of monetary change and major change in foreign policy and America’s role in the world. In future articles I hope to share how this new era will effect numerous issues such as abortion, gay marriage, the War on Terror, Israel & Palestine, and racism among other issues.
I also hope to share how Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton would play into this new era as they are on the front-runners in the 2016 election.
