The Presidents Code – President Pro Tempore Joseph Anderson
Joseph Anderson was appointed as President Pro Tempore at the end of the 8th Congress and would remain in that position until the end of 1805. His name is speaking of the midst of the Garden of Eden.
Joseph comes from the Hebrew name יוסף ‘ Yosef’ which means means he will add or gather.
Inslee is an Old English name which means a ‘woodland clearing’ or a ‘hermitage.’ A hermitage is a religious retreat where a person or group of people lived in seclusion.
Anderson means the son of Andrew which comes from the Greek name Ανδρεας ‘Αndreas’ which means man.
Here we see in Anderson’s name a depiction of a place in which man (Adam & Eve) would assemble together in a religious setting. Scripture indicates that this is in the midst of the Garden that was full of trees (Genesis 2:9). In the midst of the Garden is where the Tree of Life was located but also in close proximity to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It was this tree that the serpent would use to lead mankind into sin and bring death into the world.
