The Presidents Code – President Pro Tempore John Gaillard (3) (continued)
John Gaillard’s third term as President Pro Tempore continued from James Monroe‘s Presidency into the first year of Adams‘ term in office. Gaillard’s name is displaying the victory of the Seed of the woman over the serpent and the joy which comes to all those who are redeemed by Him.
John means camp or grace of Yah. The grace of Yah, promised to come as the Seed of the woman is the theme of this chapter.
Gaillard is of Middle English origin and means to be brave and joyous. Adam and Eve were to be brave, trusting in God’s grace that He would give them victory over the serpent through their Seed. This Seed, Jesus Christ, would bring this victory and joy to all of mankind (Zechariah 9:9; Isaiah 12:3; 25:9; 1 John 1:3-4).
