The Presidents Code – President Pro Tempore James Ross
James Ross’ name meaning is speaking of God’s gift to Adam of a help-meet and the Garden of Eden.
James comes from the Latin name ‘Iacomus’ which traces back further to the Hebrew name יעקב ‘Yaakov’ or Jacob. Like Jacob Read before him, this name is pointing to the reward that Adam received from God in the form of Eve and the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:22).
Ross comes from a Scottish surname which means promontory or headland. A promontory is a prominent mass of land which overlooks a valley or a body of water. This points to the Garden of Eden, the holy mountain of God (Ezekiel 28:13-14) and the body of water that came out of it (Genesis 2:10).
