The Presidents Code – 2016 Candidates

The Presidents Code – 2016 Candidates

2016 election

The candidates running for President in 2016 fit into the code, albeit with varying meanings and different paths which the country would take if they are elected.

In a previous article on the 2012 election, it was shown that whether or not President Obama was re-elected or Mitt Romney would have been voted into office, the code would have continued.  From the research I have done, this has been the case for the other 56 elections as well.   2016 is the 58th Presidential election.  Some have been more obvious than others but either way, the message of the Bible would have been displayed in congruent order.  I’m not going to discuss this in detail now but the important thing to note is that regardless of who is put into office and which direction the country takes, God is in control (Psalm 22:28; 75:7; Daniel 2:21; John 3:27; 19:11).

I do not believe it is the purpose of this “code” to make predictions about the future.  Therefore, I will not venture to make a prediction about who will win the 2016 election.  That is in the hand of the Lord. However, there is one interesting ‘prediction’ that I would like to share with the reader. Based upon the ‘code’ it appears that America is due to have a major change in its politics.  A new ‘era’ is due to come in the near future.  As a matter of fact, the beginnings of this change are occurring today as can be seen by the rise of ‘outsider’ candidates rising to prominence in this election.

Different periods or eras in our nation’s political history have been divided up into what are called ‘Party Systems.’  In the Presidents Code, these Party Systems correspond with dispensations in the Biblical narrative.

For clarity, here is a quick summary.   The First Party System of the Federalists and Democrat-Republicans displayed the time period of the Garden of Eden.  This era was the time period of the Founders, Washington Monroe.

The Second Party System of the Democrats and Whigs depicted the time period of Adam in exile through the days of Noah until the time of Abraham.  This era came about during the “second generation” of Americans and was dominated by Andrew Jackson and his supporters.

The Third Party system began with the days of Abraham Lincoln and the formation of the Republican party which corresponds with the time period in Scripture of Abraham and the covenant between God and his seed.  This was the time period of the Civil War and the Reconstruction of America after the war.  This period parallels the lives of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The Fourth Party System came about during the Presidencies of Grover Cleveland and William McKinley and lasted until the days of Franklin Roosevelt.  This time period corresponded with the days of Joseph and Israel in the land of Egypt.

We are currently in the Fifth Party System which began during the days of Franklin Roosevelt and corresponds with the ‘dispensation’ of Moses, the Old Covenant and the giving of the Law.  There have been a number of significant changes during this era, called ‘political re-alignments’ but the FDR style government has continued to this day.

The next ‘dispensation’ in the Scriptures is the time period of the Apostles and the New Covenant where the focus of God’s dealings with His people transitions from the Old Covenant, the Temple system and living in the Promised Land to the dispensation of the New Testament and the spreading of the Gospel to the four corners of the world.

Currently, we are seeing a transition in the political scene of America as well.  A large majority of Americans are fed up with the politicians and the corruption seen in the two party system.  Polls that have been run from 2010 to today speak of 60-80% of Americans wanting a different party to choose from.  This corresponds with the time period of John the Baptist, Jesus Christ and His Apostles as they became the third  major ‘party’ or sect in Israel.

In the “code,” the Pharisees correspond with the Democratic party of today and the Sadducees correspond with the Republican party.  Historians even speak of Pharisees as the “Liberals” and Sadducees as the “Conservatives” of their time.  As of yet, a major third party corresponding with the Apostles has not yet risen to power in the country but the ‘Liberty movement’ led by Ron Paul began pushing the nation in that direction.  In the code, Ron Paul portrays John the Baptist.  There are multiple minor parties (“third parties”) already in the country, the major one being the Libertarian party. However, as of now, the ‘Liberty movement’ has not fully embraced any of these parties so it remains to be seen if the Libertarian party will rise to prominence or if a new group will be formed entirely.

Note to the reader, this was an insight I saw based upon the code when this ‘code’ was first put together in 2012.  I thought that the “Liberty movement” would be the catalyst in pushing this nation into a new era but the 2016 election has shown that this is not turning out to be the fullness of this move.  The primary theme of the 2016 election has been about establishment candidates versus anti-establishment candidates with the support of anti-establishment candidates rising to an historical level.

The large crowds and the almost ‘messianic fervor’ which was seen for Barack Obama in 2008, and Ron Paul in 2012 are indicative of the state of the people in this country.  This fervor has transitioned today to Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.  The people are desperate for change.  They are tired of the corruption seen in their government.  This was seen during the days of Messiah as well.  The corruption of the religious leaders was seen by many in the nation so they flocked to John the Baptist (Matthew 3:5; Mark 1:5; Luke 3:7) and later to Jesus Christ (Matthew 4:25; 5:1; 8:1; 12:15; 15:30; 21:9; Luke 5:15; 14:25)..

This movement continued into the days of the Apostles recorded in the book of Acts where God’s dealings with His people began to change.  The focus of believers would change from the Temple system and a desire to rule in the Promised land, to spreading the Gospel of salvation to all of mankind (Acts 1:6-8).  This corresponds with the political change which is occurring in America.

This ‘dispensation’ which has been named the ‘Church Age’ by theologians would be paralleled in our days in a future Sixth Party System.  It is too early to give a solid prediction but another ‘Party System’ is due to occur in the near future.  Time will tell whether this means a new party will form around the libertarian movement of Ron Paul, whether there will be major changes in the Republican party or some other such change which is not completely foreseeable today.

As mentioned before, the Sadducees were the ‘conservative’ party during the Second Temple period.  They disappeared from the scene after the fall of the Temple, leaving only the Pharisees and a new ‘sect’ called Christians.

2016 election 2
The 2016 election has further displayed this move towards a new era in American politics.  The theme of the 2016 election has been about “establishment” candidates versus “anti-establishment” candidates.  The name meanings of those running for President would continue the ‘code’ albeit in varying ways.

The name meanings of the establishment candidates seem to imply that the course of this nation would continue in the same direction.  However, their name meanings also lead one to believe something may happen during their Presidency which would push the nation further into a new era.  The meaning of the anti-establishment candidates either portray a movement towards a new era or a ‘stalemate’ in which the nation ‘battles’ over whether or not to stay the course (coinciding with continued ‘scribe and Pharisee’ leadership) or move in a new direction (follow the leadership of the Apostles).

Before looking at the 2016 candidates, here is a quick review of the Obama Presidency and how it displays the time period of Jesus Christ.

In the Presidents Code, Barack Obama‘s name meaning is speaking of the Messiah who comes to earth to bear the sins of mankind, and then is exalted to the Right Hand of the Father.

Barack comes from the Hebrew word ברך ‘barack’ which means blessing. This is pointing to Jesus, the Blessed One (1 Timothy 6:15; Mark 14:61).

Hussein comes from the Arabic حسين ‘Husayn’ which is a diminutive of ‘Hasan.’  حسن ‘Hasan’ means handsome from the Arabic حسن ‘hasuna’ which means to be beautiful or good. This too is pointing to Jesus, the Beautiful One (Song of Songs 6:3-4; Isaiah 4:2; 33:17; Zechariah 9:17; John 1:14; Romans 10:15-16; 2 Peter 1:16).

Obama is of African origin and means to be crooked or bent.  It traces back to a Luo word ‘bam’ which means crooked or bent down with the prefix ‘O’ which means he.  He is bent down.

In Hebrew the word בם ‘bam’ is speaking of something lifted up.  He is bent down and then lifted up. This is pointing to Jesus who humbled Himself to come to earth, suffering death for the sins of mankind. In this He became highly exalted and given a name above every name.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Philippians 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Barack Obama’s election to the Presidency portrays the coming of the Messiah. Obama rose to prominence through his message of hope and change which resonated in the hearts of the people as they had grown jaded towards the government as a result of years of corruption. So too, when the Messiah came on the scene, the people of Israel were ready for a change as a result of the corruption of the religious leaders of their days (Matthew 23:4; Acts 15:10).

However, while there have been some changes from the previous administration, for the most part, America is still headed in the same general direction. This too corresponds with the aforementioned time period in the Bible. Although the Messiah had come to earth, the political power of the nation was still in the hands of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Barack Obama’s Presidency depicts the days of Messiah, the One who came with the message of love, hope and change. He taught and healed the masses amidst the corrupt power structure of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, to regather all men unto Himself. He laid the foundation of His church, and before ascending back to Heaven gave them charge to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

For a more detailed explanation see: The Presidents Code – The Obama Presidency

The most recent person to become a leader in the Obama Presidency is Paul Ryan.  He is mentioned because, barring something very unusual, Ryan will probably be the last man to become a leader (and part of the ‘code’) in the Obama Presidency.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan 10/29/2015-

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan 10/29/2015-

Paul Ryan’s name meaning displays the Gospel of the Beloved Son of God lowering Himself from His estate in heaven to live as a man, suffer and die that we might be saved.  As a result He is given all power and authority in heaven and on earth.

Paul comes from the Roman name ‘Paulus’ meaning small or humble (Philippians 2:7-8; 2 Corinthians 8:9).

Davis comes from the name דוד ‘David’ meaning beloved.

Ryan comes from an Irish surname which is derived from ‘Ó Riain’ meaning descendent of Rían.   Rían means ‘little king.’

This name points to Jesus the beloved One (Matthew 3:17; 12:18; Mark 1:11), who was brought low at the cross (Philippians 2:5-8), by the hands of ‘little kings’ Herod and Pilate (Acts 4:26-28). Both Herod and Pilate were rulers over the land but were underlings to the Roman Caesar, hence they were ‘little kings.’

This was the time in which the kings and rulers conspired against the Lord and His Anointed but their plans were thwarted by the victory of His resurrection (Psalm 2:1-3; Acts 2:23; 4:25-27). Jesus overcame their attempts to silence the Gospel by crucifying Him. He resurrected and gave His disciples the mission of spreading this Gospel to the world (Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 24:47-48; Acts 1:8) accompanied with power to do so (Acts 1:8; 4:33; Romans 1:4-5).

The parable displayed in Ryan’s name is significant as most of the candidates running for President in 2016 display a very similar story.

Barring something unusual, Paul Ryan should be the last person in the Obama Chapter of the Presidents Code.  Through the Obama Presidency the message of the Gospels have been portrayed with the last few men rising to power displaying the theme of the crucifixion and resurrection.  Currently, the candidates for President in 2016 display this theme as well in varying ways.   Now we’ll examine these candidates and their name meanings.

Following are the Presidential candidates that are still in the race as of February 10th, the day after the New Hampshire primaries.  This article is going to examine the name meanings of each candidate displaying how they point in parable form to the time period of 1st Century Israel and how their election to President may or may not be significant in pushing the country into a new era in.

The Democrats:

Hillary Clinton 2016

Hillary Clinton

Hillary traces back to the Latin word ‘hilaris’ and the Greek name Ιλαρος ‘Hilaros,’ both of which mean cheerful, merry or joyous.  Hillary Clinton is an establishment candidate who would line up with the leadership of Israel in the first century.  This name meaning of joy or laughter would be a continuation of Paul Ryan’s name which displays the crucifixion.  At the crucifixion, the leadership of the time conspired against the Lord and His Anointed (Psalm 2:1-3; Acts 2:23; 4:25-27) but God laughs at their attempts to defeat Him.  Through the cross, Jesus triumphed over His adversaries (Colossians 2:15).

Psa 2:2  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
Psa 2:3  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
Psa 2:4  He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Psa 2:5  Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Psa 2:6  Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
Psa 2:7  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

Further connecting this name Hillary to the crucifixion is that in ancient Rome, Hilaria (the plural form of hilaris) was a class of holidays, a time of rejoicing in honor of Cybele at the spring equinox.  It was at the time period of the Spring equinox that Jesus was crucified during the holiday of Passover.

Diane is a French form of Diana which means “heavenly” or “divine.”  It is related to the word ‘dyeus’ which means god.  It was through the resurrection that Jesus was declared to be the Son of God.

Rom 1:4  And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

It is through the resurrection that the Son was begotten as mentioned in Psalm 2:7

Act 13:33  God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

Heb 5:5  So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

Psa 2:7  I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

The goddess Diana was worshiped amongst the people of the 1st century as is seen in the book of Acts (Acts 19:24-41).  Diana was the goddess of light and the moon.  In the Greek she was called Ἄρτεμις ‘Artemis’ which literally means light.  Jesus was the light of the world who overcame the darkness (John 1:5; 3:16-21; 8:12).

Rodham comes from the Old English ‘rod’ which means a clearing.  A clearing in Hebrew is רחב ‘rachav’ which means to make something wide or roomy.  This word is also translated as freedom and proud.  Both of these concepts connect to the parable seen in Clinton.  It is through the pride of the “establishment” that Christ was crucified (Proverbs 28:25; Psalm 101:5; Matthew 27:18).   However, through the crucifixion, Christ brought freedom (Galatians 5:1, 13; Romans 8:2; 1 Corinthians 7:22).

Clinton is from a surname which was originally from an Old English place name meaning “settlement on the River Glyme”. The River Glyme is a river in Oxfordshire, England. It is a tributary of the River Evenlode. The river’s name is derived from the Brythonic word for “bright stream”.

A ‘bright stream’ links to the Hebrew concept of ‘breaking up your fallow ground.’ The Hebrew word for light, ניר ‘niyr,’ is a picture of a farmer breaking up the fallow ground which causes the water beneath to reflect the light of the sun.  This breaking up of fallow ground is linked in the Scriptures with circumcision of the heart (Jeremiah 4:3-4).  Circumcision of the heart comes through faith in Christ and is linked to the resurrection (Romans 2:28-29; Colossians 2:11-13).

Further connecting this Clinton – light (ניר ‘niyr’) concept is that the name Clinton also has the meaning of a “settlement on a hill.”  Jesus speaks of His church as the light of the world, a city on a hill.
Mat 5:14  Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Later, Paul speaks of the Church as lights amidst the darkness of a crooked nation.
Php 2:15  That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Clinton’s name continues the parable of the Presidents Code picking up from the most recent addition Paul Ryan.  A Clinton Presidency would continue the current path of America with the same leadership and ideology as has been seen in the Bush and Obama Presidencies corresponding with the corrupt leadership of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

However, it appears in Clinton’s name that if she becomes President something may occur during her tenure in office which would push the country even more towards a new era which would correspond with the time period of the Apostles.  Her name meanings point to the crucifixion of Christ in which the corrupt leadership of the time had a temporary victory, but her name meanings also point to the resurrection of Messiah which gave Him the ultimate victory.

Bernie Sanders 2016
Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders name meaning points to the Good Shepherd Jesus who lays down His life to defend mankind from the enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26; Hebrews 2:14).

Bernie is a diminutive of Bernard which is a combination of the words ‘bern’ which means bear and ‘hard’ which means hardy, brave, fearless and bold.

The Hebrew word for bear is דוב ‘dov’ which literally is a picture of a father who sits at the door of the tent.  The door of the tent was the place of relaxation for the father. Here he would watch his family, livestock and the road for approaching visitors (Genesis 18:1).  The root of דוב ‘dov’ is דב which means to rest, to be quiet as in the father sitting at the door of the tent.

The father/shepherd would sit at the door of the tent where he could watch his family and livestock.  If there was danger He would arise.  In the Scriptures, when God arises, all the earth is silent before Him (Revelation 8:1; Habakkuk 2:20; Zechariah 2:13; Zephaniah 1:7-18; Psalm 76:8-12).

To be brave, bold and fearless corresponds with the Hebrew word גבר ‘gibor.’  Scripture uses this word in description of the Messiah, the Mighty God (Psalm 45:3-6; 89:19; Isaiah 9:6).  In Genesis 6:4, the word גבור ‘giybor’ is translated as ‘mighty men’ or ‘heroes,’ speaking of the heros of ancient myth.  The word ‘hero’ comes from the Greek word ἥρως ‘heros’ which means hero, warrior or more literally a brave protector and defender.  The corresponding word in Hebrew is ישועה ‘yeshuah’ which pictures a shepherd protecting and defending his sheep from their enemies.  ישועה ‘yeshuah’ is the source of the name Jesus.

The brave Shepherd laid down His life as a lamb to save His people, giving them peace (John 14:27; 16:33; Ephesians 2:14) and rest (Matthew 11:28-30).

Joh 10:1  Truly, truly, I say to you, The one not entering through the door into the sheepfold, but going up by another way, that one is a thief and a plunderer.
Joh 10:2  But the one entering through the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Joh 10:3  The doorkeeper opens to him, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
Joh 10:4  And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes in front of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
Joh 10:5  But they will not follow a stranger, never! But they will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of the strangers.
Joh 10:6  Jesus spoke this allegory to them, but they did not know what it was which He spoke to them.
Joh 10:7  Then Jesus again said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you that I am the door of the sheep.
Joh 10:8  All who came before Me are thieves and plunderers, but the sheep did not hear them.
Joh 10:9  I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in, and will go out, and will find pasture.
Joh 10:10  The thief does not come except that he may steal, and kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life and may have it abundantly.
Joh 10:11  I am the Good Shepherd! The Good Shepherd lays down His life on behalf of the sheep.
Joh 10:12  But the hireling, not even being a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and forsakes the sheep and flees. And the wolf seizes them, and scatters the sheep.
Joh 10:13  But the hireling flees because he is a hireling, and there is not a care to him concerning the sheep.
Joh 10:14  I am the Good Shepherd, and I know those that are Mine, and I am known by the ones that are Mine.
Joh 10:15  Even as the Father knows Me, I also know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.
Joh 10:16  And I have other sheep which are not of this fold. I must also lead those, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock, one Shepherd.
Joh 10:17  For this reason My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, that I may take it again.
Joh 10:18  No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down from Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I received this commandment from My Father.

Sanders is a short form of the name Alexander which comes from the Greek name Αλεξανδρος ‘Alexandros.’  Αλεξανδρος ‘Alexandros’ means defender of men from αλεξω ‘alexo’ meaning to defend or help and ανηρ ‘aner’ meaning man.  Jesus is the Defender of mankind against the accusations of the adversary (Romans 8:31-34; Hebrews 2:14-18; 1 John 2:1-2; Psalm 62:2,6; 89:18; 94:22). Scripture associates the Lord as our defense with being our salvation.

Psa 62:1  To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth {דּוּמיּה ‘dumiyah’ – rest, quiet} upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
Psa 62:2  He only is my rock and my salvation {ישועה ‘yeshuah’ – source of the name Jesus}; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Psa_62:6  He only is my rock and my salvation {ישועה ‘yeshuah’}: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

דּוּמיּה ‘dumiyah’ literally means silence, connecting back to the concept of the bear found in Sanders’ first name.

Deu 33:29  Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield {מגן ‘magen’ – defense} of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

Psa 18:35  You have also given me the shield {מגן ‘magen’} of Your salvation; and Your right hand holds me up; and Your condescension has made me great.

In Sanders name parable it appears that, if elected, he would be a “defender” of the common man against the ‘elite.’  He has positioned himself as an ‘anti-establishment’ candidate and a lot of what he stands for is in opposition to the establishment.  It seems that a Sanders Presidency would certainly push the nation in the direction of a ‘new era,’ albeit with many battles from the current establishment.  Hence, the need for “defending.”

The Republicans:

Jeb Bush 2016
Jeb Bush

Jeb is a nickname from the initials of his name John Ellis Bush.

John comes from the Hebrew name יוֹחָנָן ‘Yochanan’ meaning the grace or camp of Yah.  The grace of God was revealed through Jesus Christ (John 1:17; 2 Timothy 2:1; 1 Corinthians 1:4; Titus 2:11).  The ‘camp of Yah’ is referring to believers in God and the land in which they live (Revelation 20:9; Hebrews 12:22-23; Psalm 89:7; Acts 20:28).

Ellis is an English surname derived from the name Elijah.  Elijah means my God is Yah.  In context of the time period of the code, this name seems to point to Jesus on the cross where He cried “Eli, Eli, lama sabachtani?” and the people thought He was calling on Elijah for help (Matthew 27:46-7).

However, this name could also be pointing to John the Baptist.  Jesus spoke of John the Baptist as Elijah (Matthew 11:14; 17:10-13). The Presidency of Jeb’s older brother George displayed the time period of John the Baptist and his message of rebuke against the corrupt establishment.  If this meaning is what Jeb’s Presidency portrays, then it is likely that we would see a “re-boot” of George W. Bush‘s Presidency.  The Gospels also “re-boot” the John the Baptist storyline as each of the Gospels begin with the account of John the Baptist.

Bush is an from an Old English word ‘busc’ which means a bush.   A bush is used to mark one’s land as well as hide one’s home for privacy.  In Hebrew, בוש ‘bush’ means shame and is the origin of the English word for bush. This word was first used in the Bible when talking of Adam and Eve when they were naked and not ashamed in the Garden (Genesis 2:25).  After partaking of the fruit of the tree of knowledge, Adam and Eve attempted to hide their shame by covering their nakedness with fig leaves (Genesis 3:7).

Jesus is connected with Adam as sin entered the world through Adam but righteousness came through Christ (Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 15:22-45).  Jesus took upon Himself the shame of the cross that mankind might be restored into right relationship with God that Adam and Eve forfeited in the Garden (Hebrews 12:2).

In George W. Bush‘s Presidency, the name Bush portrayed the shame Israel bore during the days of the Prophets which led to their exile.  Israel repented and returned to the law of God and rebuilt the Temple however, they did not stay true to the law of the Lord.  They allowed religion to become an idol and so fell back into the shame of their forefathers (Matthew 23:32).

Israel’s rejection of Christ Jesus brought further shame upon them, ultimately leading to the destruction of the second Temple and their exile from the land.

Rom 9:31  But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
Rom 9:32  Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
Rom 9:33  As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Rom 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Rom 10:12  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Rom 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the
1Pe 3:16  Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
1Pe 2:6  Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Joh 8:49  Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour {ἀτιμάζω ‘atimazō’ – shame} me.

This portion of Scripture in John 8 displays the leadership of Israel and their rejection of Christ.  Jesus said this rejection came about because of their rejection and rebellion against God (John 8:39-49).

Jeb Bush is an establishment candidate for the Republicans.  In the code, a Bush Presidency appears to display this theme as well.  Bush’s name meaning seems to portray the coming of Christ to earth and His ‘battles’ with the political establishment of His day and their rejection of Him.

Ben Carson 2016
Ben Carson

Benjamin comes from the Hebrew name בנימין ‘benyamin’ which is a combination of the words בן ‘ben’ which means son and ימין ‘yamiyn’ which means right hand.  The name literally means ‘son in my image’ as ימין ‘yamiyn’ comes from the word מן ‘miyn’ which means “same kind” or “likeness.”  Jesus is spoken of as the “right hand” of God (Psalm 110:1; 44:3; 98:1-3; 80:17; 118:14-15; Isaiah 48:13; 52:10; 53:1), who came in His image and likeness (Hebrews 1:3; 2 Corinthians 4:4-6; Colossians 1:15-16).

Solomon comes from the Hebrew name שְׁלֹמֹה ‘Shelomoh’ which comes from the word שָׁלוֹם ‘shalom’ which means peace or fullness.  Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) who brings peace to mankind through the work of the cross (John 14:27; 16:33; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:14; Colossians 1:20).

Carson means son of Carr which has the meaning of one who “lives in a swamp.”  The Hebrew word for swamp is בצה ‘betsah’ which is translated in the Bible as ‘mire,’ ‘fens,’ and ‘miry place.’  It has the meaning of a muddy place.  Deliverance is associated with being pulled up out of the mud (Psalm 40:2-3) and is linked to the crucifixion (Psalm 69:2,14).

Interestingly, one of the Hebrew words for fine linen, בוצ ‘buts’ comes from the same Hebrew root as בצה ‘betsah.’  The fine linen of the saints is speaking of the righteousness which comes through faith in Christ and His work on the cross (Revelation 19:8, 14).
In another aspect, the Scriptures associate the mud and mire with false prophets and teachers who infiltrated the faithful and attempted to lead them astray (2 Peter 2:1-22).  This points to the corrupted leadership of Israel in the 1st century.
2Pe 2:22  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
Carson also links back to the Gaelic name ‘O’Carra’ which means spear.  This aspect of the name appears to be linking to the crucifixion as well (John 19:34).

Carson is an “anti-establishment” candidate whose name meaning points to the Messiah who brings peace to mankind through His work on the cross.  However, Carson has a number of connections to the Presidency of George W. Bush which portrayed the false teachers of the day (Matthew 7:15-20; 16:6) whose father was the devil (John 8:44), in the words of Christ.  In Hebrew, the word בוש ‘bush’ literally speaks of the foul odor given off by a swamp land connecting the names Bush and Carson.  If Carson becomes the nominee for the Republicans and eventually the President it will become more clear which side of this parable he will bring forth.

Ted Cruz 2016
Ted Cruz

Rafael comes from the Hebrew name רָפָאֵל ‘Rafa`el’ which is a combination of the words רפא ‘rapha’ which means heal, cure or physician and אל ‘el’ which means means God.  Christ the Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26; Isaiah 53:5), our Physician (Matthew 9:12).
Salvation is associated with ‘health’ in the Scriptures.
Psa 67:2  That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health {ישׁוּעה ‘yeshuah’} among all nations.
ישׁוּעה ‘yeshuah’ is the source of the name Jesus, usually translated as ‘salvation.’
Act 27:34  Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health {σωτηρία ‘soteria’}: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.

σωτηρία ‘soteria’ is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew word ישׁוּעה ‘yeshuah.’

Ted is a nickname for Edward.  Edward means a “rich guard” coming from the Old English words ‘ead’ which means wealth or fortune and ‘weard’ which means guard.  There are number of Hebrew words for one who is wealthy or rich but only one which describes a person watching over or guarding their wealth.  This word is שוע ‘shua`’ which is a cognate of the word ישועה ‘yeshuah’ which means salvation and is the source of the name Jesus.  Both words trace back to the root שע ‘sha’ which depicts a shepherd watching over his flock, defending them from danger.  Jesus is the Good Shepherd who watches over us, protecting us from harm (Psalm 23:1; 80:1; 95:6-9; Isaiah 40:9-11; Ezekiel 34:11-31; John 10:11-18; 1 Peter 2:25; Hebrews 13:20-21).

Cruz means cross in both the Spanish and Portuguese languages, pointing to the crucifixion of Christ.  Jesus is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep (John 10:11, 14-17).

Cruz is running for President as an “anti-establishment” candidate although he also has a number of connections to the Bush Presidency.  His name meaning points to the crucifixion of Christ which brings healing to mankind and defends them from evil.  However, the crucifixion was also a dark time in which the rulers of this world had a temporary ‘victory.’  If Cruz becomes the Republican nominee and President it will become more clear as to what side his Presidential parable will display.

John Kasich 2016
John Kasich

John comes from the Hebrew name יוֹחָנָן ‘Yochanan’ meaning the grace or camp of Yah.  The grace of God was revealed through Jesus Christ (John 1:17; 2 Timothy 2:1; 1 Corinthians 1:4; Titus 2:11).  The ‘camp of Yah’ is referring to believers in God and the land in which they live (Revelation 20:9; Hebrews 12:22-23; Psalm 89:7; Acts 20:28).

Richard means “brave power” from the Germanic words ‘ric’ meaning power or rule and ‘hard’ meaning brave.  Jesus is the power or strength of God (1 Corinthians 1:24; Ephesians 3:16-17; 6:10).  Every knee shall bow to Him, in whom we have righteousness and strength (Isaiah 45:24; Philippians 2:10; Romans 14:11).

The corresponding word in Hebrew ישועה ‘yeshuah’ which pictures a shepherd protecting and defending his sheep from their enemies.  ישועה ‘yeshuah’ is the source of the name Jesus.

The brave Shepherd laid down His life as a lamb to save His people (John 10:1-18), giving them peace (John 14:27; 16:33; Ephesians 2:14) and rest (Matthew 11:28-30).

Kasich is a Latin spelling of the Cyrillic name ‘КАСІЧ’ which has an unknown meaning but probably comes from the Old Slavic word ‘kazac’ which means to order or command.  It is a word speaking of an authority who is to be obeyed.  All power and authority belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20; John 3:35; 5:22-27; 17:2; Ephesians 1:20-21; 1 Peter 3:22).
Eph 1:20  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

John Kasich is an establishment candidate whose name meaning points to Christ, in specific the time period of the crucifixion and resurrection. At this point, Kasich is a long shot for the nomination but a Kasich Presidency would certainly continue the code.

Marco Rubio 2016
Marco Rubio

Marco is an Italian and Spanish form of the name Mark.  Mark comes from the Roman name Mars, the ‘god’ of war.  It is believed that this name Mars comes from the Latin word ‘mas’ which means male.  War comes from the lust of Adam and Eve at the beginning (James 4:1) when they were deceived by the adversary into partaking of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.  This decision brought warfare to the earth.

It is interesting to note that in Hebrew, the planet Mars is called מאדים ‘madeeym’ which literally means the red planet.  The connection here to Adam is seen as Adam comes from the Hebrew word אדם ‘adam’ which literally means red.

The first allusion to the beginning of the war between man and the serpent is seen in the making of girdles/aprons by Adam and Eve.  The word for girdle is חגור ‘chagor’ which comes from חגר ‘chagar’ which means to arm for war (Genesis 3:7).
Gen 3:7  And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Following the fall of Adam and Eve came the punishment in which the Lord declared the enmity or war between man and the serpent.  However, this declaration came with a promise of salvation through Eve’s Seed (Genesis 3:15).

Gen 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

This war is won through the work of Jesus Christ (Job 14:14; Isaiah 40:2; Colossians 2:13-17).  The enmity ends through Messiah (Ephesians 2:13-16).
Isa 40:1  Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
Isa 40:2  Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.
Isa 40:3  The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Isa 40:4  Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:
Isa 40:5  And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Notice Isaiah 40:3 speaks of the voice crying in the wilderness which points to John the Baptist (Matthew 3:1-3; Mark 1:2-5; Luke 3:2-6; John 1:23).  Further connecting this is that evangelist and the author of the Gospel of Mark was also named John.
As mentioned before, the red planet Mars is linked to the “red-man” Adam.  Jesus is connected with Adam as well as He is called the “last Adam” in Scripture (1 Corinthians 15:45).  Sin entered the world through Adam but righteousness came through Christ (Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 15:22-45).  Jesus took upon Himself the shame of the cross that mankind might be restored into right relationship with God that Adam and Eve forfeited in the Garden (Hebrews 12:2).

The Hebrew word for enmity (Genesis 3:15) is איבה ‘eyvah’ which comes from the root אב ‘av’ which is the word for father.  The father is the support of the house, the tent pole, which was also used as a weapon against the enemies of the house.  Here the essence of the war is further displayed through the concept of father.   This war led to division between the Seed of the woman (Galatians 3:29) whose Father is God (Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6) vs. the seed of the serpent whose  father is the devil (John 8:44) and was seen in first century Israel between those who believed and followed Jesus versus those who denied Him (John 3:36; 15:23-24; Luke 10:16; 1 John 2:22-23; 2 John 1:7-9).

Mark traces back to Mars in Latin but going further to the Greek language is the name Μάρκος ‘Markos’ which means a defense.  Scripture associates the Lord as our defense with being our salvation.

Connecting Μάρκος ‘Markos’ with Mars or war is the word for army and warfare in Hebrew which is צבא ‘tseva.’  צבא ‘tseva’ comes from the root צב ‘tsav’ which literally means a tent wall, a place of protection.  צבא ‘tseva’ is translated as ‘warfare’ in Isaiah 40:2, the verse mentioned earlier in reference to the end of the war through the victory of Jesus, the Lord of Hosts (Joshua 5:14; Isaiah 55:4; Revelation 19:11-14).

Isa 40:2  Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare {צבא ‘tseva’} is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins.

Antonio comes from the Roman name Antonius which means highly praiseworthy.  Scripture associates the worthiness of the Lord to be praised with salvation (2 Samuel 22:4; Psalm 18:3).

2Sa_22:4  I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Psa_18:3  I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Through His victory, the Lamb of God is found worthy of this praise (Revelation 5:9-14).
Rev 5:9  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Rev 5:10  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Rev 5:11  And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
Rev 5:12  Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Rev 5:13  And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
Rev 5:14  And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Rubio comes from the Latin word ‘rubeus’ which means red.  This name connects back to his first name and the connections between Adam and Jesus and the war which was won by Christ.   Adam’s name means red and Jesus was the Last Adam who came to redeem mankind from the curse inherited from our first father (1 Corinthians 15:45-48; Romans 5:12-14).  Red also connects to King David who was described as ‘ruddy’ (1 Samuel 16:12). David is a ‘code’ name for the Messiah in the Scriptures (Jeremiah 30:9; Ezekiel 34:23-24; 37:24-25; Hosea 3:5).

Rubio is an establishment candidate whose name meaning brings forth a similar parable to Jeb Bush.  According to the ‘code,’ it seems a Rubio Presidency would bring forth further division in politics between the establishment and ‘anti-establishment.’

Donald Trump 2016
Donald Trump

Donald is from the Gaelic name ‘Domnhall’ which means “ruler of the world.” Domnall is a combination of the Celtic words ‘dumno’ which means world and ‘val’ which means rule.  Through His work on the cross and resurrection, Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of the Father as the ruler of the world (Ephesians 1:20-21; Colossians 1:16; 2:10; Matthew 26:63-64; Mark 14:62; Luke 22:69; Daniel 7:13).

Trump is from the Middle English word ‘trumpe’ meaning a trumpeter or one who plays the trumpet.  The trumpet is associated resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16) which lines up with the “code” as we are currently in the time period of the narrative of the crucifixion.  The voice of Christ is likened unto a trump as well (Revelation 1:10) which raises the dead (John 5:25).   The voice of the Good Shepherd calls the lost sheep home (John 10:3, 16, 27-28; Jeremiah 31:10), rescuing them from the false shepherds (Isaiah 56:8-12; (Ezekiel 22:25-28; 34:2-10; Jeremiah 23:1-4; 50:6; Matthew 9:36; Mark 6:34; 1 Peter 2:25).

The trumpet is also used during times of war (Jeremiah 4:5, 19).  The crucifixion was a culmination of the war which began in the beginning between the Seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15; Galatians 3:16) and the seed of the serpent.  This war was won by the offering of Messiah at Calvary (Isaiah 40:2).

Donald Trump is an anti-establishment candidate who, it seems, would do much in moving the country into a new era or party system.  His name meaning points to the risen Christ who was victorious over His enemies, crushing the head of the serpent.  It seems a Trump Presidency would be a move forward from the current time period of the crucified Christ who was temporarily “defeated” (heel bruised).  Trump’s run for President has already effected change and pushed politics towards a 6th party system.  Time will tell how to what extent his run for Presidency will play in effecting change in our nation.
