Daily Tidbits 1/27 – Yin Yang & Oroboros

Continuing with the Chinese dragon theme is the ‘Oroboros’ and ‘Yin Yang’ symbology of Chinese thought. The Oroboros is a figure of a serpent or dragon eating its own tail which is supposed to represent eternity or infinity.  The figure itself is a portrayal of the Hebrew word לויתן ‘leviathan.’  ‘Leviathan’ is a combination of two Hebrew words.  לוי ‘leviy’ which means joined together, like a wreath and  תן ‘tan’ which is the word for dragon or serpent mentioned in a previous tidbit. Below is a jewel of the 25th degree in the Scottish Rite which displays the concept of

Irenaeus (died about 202 AD) recorded an account of Polycarp (AD 70–155), who was Bishop of Smyrna and a disciple of the Apostle John. Irenaeus tells of Polycarp’s visit to Rome where he discussed the issue with Anicetus, the bishop of Rome. “For the controversy is not merely as regards the day, but also as regards the form itself of the fast. The Presidents Code – Grover Cleveland 2nd term (summary)

The Presidents Code – Grover Cleveland   The Presidents Code is a ‘cypher’ based upon the name meanings of the U.S. Presidents. Based upon the premise of this code, it is seen that the very characters of the Presidents, from their personal characters to the events that occurred during their Presidencies reveal

The following shadow picture might sound like a
