Daily Tidbits 1/11/12 – 7 Stars

Rev 2:1  To the angel of the Ephesian assembly, write: These things says the One holding the seven stars in His right hand, He walking in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

The ancients connected the menorah, which is a picture of the body of Messiah, to the 7 ‘stars’ which are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

The Midrash (Bamidbar Rabbah 15:7) compares the seven lamps of the Menorah to the seven planets in the solar system, illuminating the nighttime sky.

Philo (Moses. 2.102, 105) worked into his descriptions symbols which he derived from notions of the cosmos and the universe current in his day. He saw the menorah and vessels of the Temple as representing the planets, the cyclic quality of life and the concept of time. The branches of the menorah, according to Philo, could be likened to the celestial bodies. The light in the center represented the sun, while those on either side stood for the remaining planets, three on each side, with their flames facing the center.

Josephus (Antiquities of the Jews 3.7.7)  interpreted the Tabernacle and its furnishings to represent the universe. He saw the Tabernacle’s two parts accessible to the priests (the Holy and the Courtyard) to denote the land and the sea, the third division set aside for God (the Holy of Holies) to represent heaven, inaccessible to people. He saw the 12 loaves to denote the year divided into months. He saw the Menorah divided into 70 parts, representing the 70 divisions of the planets, and the seven lamps on the Menorah to refer to the course of the seven planets (then known). He saw the veils, composed of four things, to declare the four elements: the fine linen signified the earth, because the flax grows out of the earth; the purple signified the sea, because purple was dyed by the blood of shellfish from the sea; the blue signified the air; and the scarlet signified fire.

“That mystic name which is called the Tetragrammaton, by which alone they who had access to the Holy of Holies were protected, is pronounced Jehovah, which means, “Who is, and who shall be.” The candlestick which stood at the south of the altar signified the seven planets, which seem to us to revolve around the meridian, on either side of which rise three branches; since the sun also like the lamp, balanced in the midst of the planets by divine wisdom, illumines by its light those above and below. On the other side of the altar was situated the table on which the loaves were displayed, because from that quarter of the heaven vital and nourishing breezes blow.”  {Clement, Presbyter of Alexandria, the Stromatist’s Book on Providence. From the Catena on the Pentateuch, Published in Latin by Francis Zephyrus, p. 146.}

The stars & music

Job 38:4  Where were you when I founded the earth? Declare if you know understanding.
Job 38:5  Who has set its dimensions, for you know? Or who has stretched a line on it?
Job 38:6  On what were its bases sunk? Or who cast its cornerstone,
Job 38:7  when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

According to the observation of radio-astrophysicists, stars, by radio wave context, are ‘singing’ to us…. Stars throughout the universe are emitting radio wave energy. Some entire galaxies are emitting almost nothing but radio wave energy.

NASA discovered to their amazement that not only are these stars emitting radio wave energy, but that there is music on those radio waves of energy…. not only is music emitted, but the music being emitted is in a major key. The music being emitted from these stars is harmonious.

NASA compared the music being emitted from these star sources to the instruments of an orchestral creation. It seems that everywhere we look, creation is orchestrated.

Recently, with some special plasma ionized research units, NASA found that Neptune and some of the other planets in our solar system emit a signal which sounds like whistling, as if it were whistling a tune…

The Menorah and the Solfeggio Scale

Identity – You are the Tabernacle of God by John Saba pg 54

Day 1 of creation corresponds to day 4.  Day 2 corresponds to day 5.  Day 3 corresponds to day 6.  The Light of the 1st day connects with the light of the sun on day 4.  The fish in the 5th day and the water of the 2nd day connect.  Man in the 6th day connects with the earth/dust from whence he came.  Using this pattern Mr. Saba found that the menorah shows the original Solfeggio scale.

Left to right
174, 285, 396
Right to left
417, 528, 639
Bottom to right to left
741, 852, 963

1: Ut=396=9
2. Re=417=3
3. Mi=528=6
4. Fa=639=9
5. Sol=741=3
6. La=852=6

By following the above, 174, 285, 396 etc, a spiral movement is seen.  This spiral movement is called the Fibonacci pattern.

The Milky way galaxy is a spiral following the Fibonacci pattern.

Our Solar System spins in a spiral connecting back to the Fibonacci pattern.  This also links back to the Messiah gravity connection.  The planets following their paths around the sun are doing so due to gravity.  This mysterious force known as gravity is explained in the Holy Scriptures in Colossians 1:17, speaking of the Messiah who holds all of the universe together.

The Scriptures connect the heavens to a scroll
Rev 6:14  And the heaven departed like a scroll being rolled up. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Isa 34:4  And all the host of the heavens shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together like a scroll. Then all their host shall droop, as a leaf drooping from the vine, and as the drooping from a fig tree.

There are 66 words in these two verses (Revelation 6:14; Isaiah 34:4) corresponding to the 66 books in the Scriptures.

This connection between 66 and the sky is further seen in the numerical value of the Hebrew word לול ‘lul.’  This word has the meaning of a winding staircase.  לול ‘lul’ comes from the root word לל which pictures the night sky which is rolled out as a scroll.

Jacob experienced a ladder (staircase) which reached to heaven in which he saw the angels of God ascending and descending (Genesis 28:10-19) which pictured Christ (John 1:51) and His Church (Bethel – House of God) (Genesis 28:19; Matthew 16:18; 1 Timothy 3:15).

Richard McGough, in his work on the Bible wheel found that the Scriptures themselves are in the form of the Fibonacci Spiral.

“The 66 books of the Bible are spiraled into 3 cycles, encompassed by the 22 Hebrew letters, which then beautifully manifests the 7  divisions of the Biblical Canon.”

“The Bible Wheel is a circular presentation of the Bible that I discovered by rolling up the traditional list of the sixty-six books like a scroll on a spindle wheel of twenty-two spokes, corresponding to the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The order of the Hebrew alphabet is established in the alphabetically structured passages of the Old Testament, most notably Psalm 119 that praises God’s Word from Aleph to Tav, from beginning to end. This exemplifies how everything in the Bible Wheel is derived from Scripture and Scripture alone.”

This division of the Scriptures into portions of 7 can is portrayed in the Menorah.

More on this in Genesis 1:2-5.

Music & Color

“The Fibonacci spiral is a representation of the golden mean proportion that occurs so often in nature… Even the colors of the rainbow are made by different wavelengths that vary in size in a golden mean proportion relative to one another.”

“This can be seen in the varying widths of the color bands in a rainbow.  The seven colors correspond to the seven notes of the diatonic music scale, and the mathematical, golden mean relationship between the notes, as they ascend and descend along the scale, matches exactly the relationship between the colors of the rainbow. The fact that colors have musical equivalents is reflected in the twelve-note ‘chromatic’ musical scale.  As described by author Michael S. Schneider in A Beginner’s Guide to Constructing the Universe: ‘The chromatic twelve-scale includes the diatonic seven-scale plus five sharps or flats between them, giving the scale shades of musical color.’  This may provide a factual basis for the sensory phenomenon known as ‘synesthesia’, in which certain people naturally see certain colors when they hear certain sounds, and vice-versa. Such people often report seeing the letters of the alphabet in certain associated colors as well.”

As seen in Genesis 1:2-5, the word for music in ancient Hebrew pictographically means a ‘string’.  Brian Greene in Elegant Universe pg 15 describes everything in the universe as sound…a symphony.

The Word is a Song.

Psa 50:1  A Psalm of Asaph God, Jehovah God, has spoken, and calls to the earth from the rising of the sun to its going in.

Psalm 50:1  A hymn composed by Asaph. Mighty is God; the Lord spoke at the Creation a song; and he carved out[62] the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.

Psa 119:54  Your Statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimages.

Isa 12:2  Behold, God is my salvation {ישׁוּעה ‘yeshû‛âh’ – source of the name Jesus}; I will trust, and not be afraid: for Jah Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation {ישׁוּעה yeshû‛âh}.
Isa 12:3  Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation {ישׁוּעה yeshû‛âh}.

Notice the connection to God being our song and the living waters.  It is interesting to note that the Hebrew word for ‘milky way’ is מנזלה ‘manzalah’ which literally means a flowing river.  According to the Revelation 22:1-2, the river of life that comes forth from the throne of God, is linked to 12 fruits of the tree of life.

The word for the constellations in Hebrew is מזרות ‘mazzaroth’ which traces back to the Hebrew word נזר ‘nazar.’  What was on the crown of the High Priest?  The sacred name of the LORD (Exodus 29:6; 39:30)  According to Josephus (Wars of the Jews Book 5 Chapter 5 Section 7) the sacred name consisted of 4 vowels which are pronounced with our breath.  The Hebrew word for ‘name,’ is שם ‘shem’ which means breath/wind.  It is the root for the word שמים ‘shamayim’ which means heaven.
